Well, that shouldn't be hard. Last year he got 30 points from the Giro, 15 for finishing and 15 for a 4th place stage finish. His other 202 he got from random races. He should be able to do that this year, and quite a bit more seeing as a) he will be involved with tons more .1 Italian races than last year, which IMHO he can do a lot better in than a Giro stage/overall at this point, and b) the smaller races (or even larger ones like T-A) will now be more his focal point. Not to mention c), if Garzelli retires, Di Luca will have more responsibility for leadership. Honestly, unless the team goes belly up and he's left without a ride, I think this is the best thing that could've happened to his season, CQ wise.
