TeoSheva: How do you generate the results yourself? Is it something that you could explain so that anyone could do it?

it's easy:

1)take the last excel file from cqmanager.net, and copy the whole sheet "Results 2012" into "last week"
2)take the latest excel file from cqranking.com, go to the sheet "Year ranking", copy it from the 9th lines to the end and paste it in the sheet "Results 2012" of the file from cqmanager.net.

that's all

in you want you can re-order the sheet "Rankings" from the lowest to the highest rank.

Davis, Oss, Selig for the sprints
Langeveld, Smukulis, (Rowe)* for the breakaways

Thanks!

If I did it right, I am in the top ten!

coming from a person not in the top 40

:p

Where did you finish last year?

I'm waiting for someone to add the column, but I've got a fair chance of being the all time leading point-scorer in this game.

Huh, Boonen takes everything and I still drop ten spots. Lesson? Lots of people have Boonen. I guess no one got anything else for me except Henao and Costa... but yes, February champions etc, as Waterloo said. I feel like I have a good team for the whole year, so sitting steady in the top 40 is peachy for me. If I'm in 70th after the Giro I'll start to worry.

I feel like this year is gonna be super competitive, back and forth, due to more teams and more understanding of the game. I mean, obviously most people probably thought that, but it's nice to see it reflected in the wild ranking fluctuations.

Personally I think that has more to do with the fact that's it's so early in the year. Come the start of next month and we start to get some big points dished out in Paris Nice, Tirreno and San Remo, then there'll be changes galore I'd imagine. Once we get later into the year I suspect we'll see more of a hierarchy form at the top (and the bottom!)

I have Boonen/ Velits working for Chavanel and Davis for Goss. No real CQ points for me.

At least one stage win for you @Eric8-A

I'm so glad I dropped Boonen from my last years team.

With 11 riders at Volta ao Algarve, hopefully I can start getting some decent points.

Currently happy with some of my more "rare" picks in Madrazo and Steegmans.

Tour of Oman - Appollonio, A Davis, Steegman, Guardini

Volta ao Algarve - Arroyo Duran, Plaza Molina, Lofkvist, Breschel, MArtens, Sanchez, Roche, Haussler, Kroon, Devolder, Larsson

I think I'll get one from both Boonen and Greipel. Greipel for sure. Only bad thing is that I really don't have anybody for GC. I'll just have to go with the points I get from stage wins.

I hope this doesn't come out the wrong way, but if people start posting screenshots of the latest update, I don't think I want to spend so much time posting updates.

It's not that I want the credit or anything like that, it's just that I think the purpose of me posting updates with a small describtion gets a bit undermined if most have already seen the latest rankings, and if that's the case I don't really want to spend a lot of time writing, posting updates and updating the cqmanager.net website.

I hope that's understandable.

So for this time, since the standings have already been posted, I'm not gonna write a whole lot, but the download is available at the website now.

Fair point Hugo hopefully people will respect that :)
