Finnally I scored some points!
If i want to have any chance of doing well i need to be in the top 10 after the cobbles as I can see my biggest profits coming from the spring classics.

Still 75th, hurts to not have Vanmarcke as one of the few. But my time will come with stage races & the hilly classics :p!

mellow velo has scored with his 3 most expensive riders. Just not this week.

Ouch, that's true. He's even scored a lot actually. I don't know how I could miss that.

I only have 5 riders who are yet to score and none of them were big spends.
I'm fairly confident that my big spends will generate points for much of the season, but they are always a concern.

Anyhow, I can bask in my glory, hopefully until the WT stage race points get dished out in a couple of weeks.
After that, there is only one direction I can head in........

Update 8: Mellow Velo dominates

As the season has finally really kicked in, so has the era of Mellow Velo. Not only is he this weeks highest scorer, he's now also on the top of the leaderboard with a 245 points lead to Michele. I guess having the winner on this weeks two 1.HC races on your team helps a lot...

Only one new team sneak its way into the top 10 this week: skidmark's. With points from Boonen, Haussler, Battaglin, Demare and, most importantly, Vanmarcke did he have a very good week and can now celebrate at least one week in the prestigious company in the top 10.
As one team enters the top 10, another one have to leave and that team is AntonioRossi's.

Top 10:

1. (2) Mellow Velo - 2215
2. (1) Michele - 1970
3. (10) hrotha - 1885
4. (8) TeoSheva - 1863
5. (13) skidmark - 1860
6. (3) Timmy-loves-Rabo - 1858
7. (7) mc_mountain - 1856
8. (9) shalgo - 1772
9. (5) EvansIsTheBest - 1767
10. (4) gustienordic - 1752

Alright! I'll enjoy this moment in the sun, much better than my 2 early season top 10ish results this year and last due to the Australian championships. The season hasn't really started yet, but top 5 heading into Paris-Nice is pretty significant. Hopefully the team's got staying power.

And congrats Hugo! Seeing your name in lights is a thrill, no doubt.

Tough week, but I wouldn't call my team cobbled orientated, so I am content with a top 10 place.

But still an ok week coming up if rujano can win tour of langkawi.

Hopefully poels can deliver at Murica. Kelderman too maybe...

Driedaagse West-Vlaanderen and Le Samyn not too high hopes.. maaskant, kreder?

Battaglin, Duarte, atapuma, pozzato, moser, madrazo.. maybe on or two of tem can get me some points at Strade Bianche

Chris Horner showed up for my local group ride again this morning and since he is on my team I started complaining about him not scoring any points for me yet :) He was laughing and told me he will win Tirreno for me. He is hoping to win the opening stage TTT and get 20 sec lead and then he can just follow wheels. He also told me that he is not going to Paris-Nice because there is just one MTF and the climb is too short for him and since the schlecks and klodi is going there, he will be the protected rider at Tirreno.
