Morton's withdrawal from Langkawi leaves me with only Monsalve & Coquard for the race.
Morton was a late addition to my team, selected after learning that he would do Langakawi, as I believed he would get a top 10 there. :(

I feel your pain the asian :( Morton out with a sinus infection and Brambilla out with bronchitis :( Langkawi is easy points for GC riders, both could've gotten top 10.

Indeed, it's 2.HC, so worth a lot of points.

I am counting on Quintana smashing with Valverde and coming 2nd in the GC at Andalucia.

Von Hoff, Guardini and Coquard for me at Langkawi.

Lost few spots but still hanging around the middle. Still very early season and not many of my riders have seen much action. Dont have much going on right now but hopefully Rebellin and Guardini with Keough can score me some points from those stage races and as everyone else, quite a few from my list will see action this weekend riding all those one day races.

This was the week last year that things really took off for my team, winning Oman with Velits and Algarve with Porte (and then the 1/2/4 in Het Volk following). This year, not so much, but I'm happy to only drop a few places and am in good company long-term, around CQranking game stalwarts such as Kvinto and mc_mountain. The REAL season kicks off really, really soon, so top 30 isn't so bad for keeping pace. Evans is looking better than I thought, I'm slapping my forehead for completely overlooking Kenny Elissonde as he looks like the real deal, and Coquard has looked strong. But I don't regret any of my own picks yet, and as long as I'm happy with my team, I don't care what others do really.

I think I ended up just inside the top 80 last year, so I am currently struggling with nosebleeds at the moment being up in 10th!

Currently a little nervous about spending big on big Phil though...

Hopefully Guardini will pick up some wins this week though.

Imagine having all of Elissonde, Slagter and Howard on your team in 2011 or 2012 when they are a liability and seeing them rack up points like there is no tomorrow in 2013, now that you have decided to lose faith in them. That's me
Now let's hope Europcar sweep Langkawi with Coquard and Rolland and my CQ team season will really get underway.

Quintana on the board.

He already has more points then he had this time last year.
Nairo's gonna score big this year, he'll dominate even while working for Valverde. :D
Just like Froome did. :D

TGBM looking good; he's never had this much points in the early season before :D

Also, Coquard beat Guardini, that's promising.

Yeh but he scored big in Murcia.

Not racing again until Catalunya?

Hmm, just noticed he wasn't on the startlist for Mucia, it was on his original schedule though. Valverde's also targeting it though, so he likely would have been on domestique duties.

Looks like his next race will be Paris-Nice, where he won't have Valverde to slave for. :)

Looks like Quintana's next race will be Murcia.

Valverde, who took the overall title in Ruta del Sol by winning both the first and last stages, will lead a strong Movistar team which will also feature Rubén Plaza, Pablo Lastras, Juan José Cobo and Nairo Quintana. Valverde won the race twice when it was a longer stage race, and Quintana won it last year when it was two stages.

Let me know who you are dropping next year. They will be my guarantee picks ;)
