Nothing, he just didn't finish highly today... Which he should have if his form has carried for a few weeks. I was actually right about the team, they had Howard as the sprinter

The climb is that at the end of the ITT in France.

Lol really? That's pretty silly. Matthews is a better sprinter and he's in shape.

Man, I hope Viviani keeps on doing well in Qatar. I feel kind off silly for picking him. But doing good at Qatar will be a nice start. :)

Ah well, I'll probably drop a bit this week, but next week with Tour de Med I should be back in buisiness, with Rolland, Pinot, Taaramae and Mollema :p

Sounds like it

@leighhoward1
Body feeling good for 1st day here Challenge Mallorca, boys were bloody great. Unfortunately just got caught out with 500m to go.

Matthews finished 20ish and Howard a dozen further back, probably had an inexperienced sprinter leading out an inexperienced sprinter. In any case Howard is overrated imo. Has to be around the Davis/Keukeleire mark with Goss/Kruopis/Matthews ahead.

Darnit! Roux 20 points for stage win and 66 points for 3rd place- but just 1 sec from 2nd place! Roux time in tt 14'45" Cousin 15'29" and difference was 45"..!!

Anyway Roux into profit yeah!! 132 which is 165% :) :)

this week:
10+20+66 from Roux = 96
48 from Farrar
28 from Rojas
_______
172

Not too horrible considering I only had 1 rider racing in France

Ouch, those without Roux are in a world of trouble. That includes me.
I still remember his Vuelta stage win. He was in the breakaway all day. At 10kms from the finish he was alone with 20'' on the bunch. I thought there was no way he would be able to keep the peloton at bay on those flat, open roads. Sure enough the sprinters team threw everything at him but the gap seemingly refuse to budge and he went on to win the stage by a few meters. That was unreal. Now that he seems to be back to that kind of form he will be very hard to stop on the French scene. FDJ's WT obligations might distract him from scoring big points though as the WT races don't really match his type of rider.
Some good points from Bardet and Rojas too, today. More unexpectedly Coquard managed to hung on to 12th in the GC

Nuts. Hindsight is 20/20, but my only nervousness submitting my team was that I didn't find a place for a French rider who could score big on the French circuit (I mean, Barguil, but he's on Argos), and Roux/Coquard were the 2 I tried to fit in there. Oh well, I don't think it's so much a world of trouble, there are 33 riders on my team who, if they all go well, will easily outstrip a missed pick.

That said, Farrar, Rojas and the 3 points Barguil got are hardly going to let me keep 11th place for the 4th week in a row. Oh well, once Rebellin cleans up in Tour Med I should be fine :)

Well, I'm out of the top 10 I guess, earned roughly 70 points :)

There must be a ****load of guys with Roux who passed me. Such an obvious pick in hindsight. Ah well, my bad.

Kind off hoping to be back after Tour de Med though.

This week Cousin and Petit were my only riders to give me points. But at least Cousin has already done better than his entire 2012 :p

Update 4: A Nordic invasion

Week 4 was pretty quiet - but not for everyone. gustienordic had a very good week, scoring 323 points from Farrar, Swift, Rojas, Bardet, Roux and Coquard - not bad considering the limited amount of racing this week! nordicICE1024 was a close second with the same riders just missing Farrar.

This week's top scorers:

1. gustienordic - 323
2. nordicICE1024 - 275
3. Housoe - 258
4. MADRAZO - 240
4. squire - 240

Housoe, third on the list of this week's top scorers dominates the high jumpers list, moving up 53 places and now sitting in 26th place. squire, another team from the top scorers list, is second on the high jumpers list, winning 37 places.

This week's high jumpers:

1. Housoe +53
2. squire +37
3. Geraint Too Fast +35
4. Karbonkel +33
5. PeterB +32

The two top scorers this week, gustienordic and nordicICE1024, also moves up quite a bit, but while it's not enough to make it onto the list of the high jumping teams, I'm sure they can still celebrate as they are now both in the overall top 10, sitting in 8th and 10th place.

adamski101 still leads the competition but loses 20 points on AAC1983 who's now only 17 points away from 1st place. It looks as though ingsve is back with a vengeance as he's now already in 3rd place.

Top 10:

1. (-) adamski101 - 1036
2. (-) AAC1983 - 1019
3. (+2) ingsve - 973
4. (-) DnthasldHoff - 960
5. (-2) Maaaaaaaarten - 912
6. (+9) MADRAZO - 876
6. (+3) Skibby the bush kangaroo - 876
8. (+25) gustienordic - 875
9. (+3) TeoSheva - 848
10. (+25) nordicICE1024 - 822
10. (+3) Kjellus - 822

Great week thanks to my french guys Coquard. Roux and Bardet and Last week the last one Barguil showed great shape.

Farrar also starts to deliver at Mallorca, he is one of the picks i was a bit worried about.

Great to be in this week top five and to make the largest jump this week. Guees i have Nathan Haas to thank for that, if he had performed as i expected down under that would not be the case.

The french season have kicked of my cq tem point wise hope it continues in the Tour de med.

My team for Tour the med
Thibaut Pinot
Anthony Roux
Rein TAARAMAE
Thor Hushovd
Andy Schleck
Rafael Majka
