112 for my unique pick Elmiger who is getting close to profit now.
Still not enough to help me out as I dropped 14 places. I'm in the Froome big money camp which really isn't paying off right now

I might have a few 5-pointers in AGR and that's it. Fortunately, the top finishers aren't very popular so I won't loose too much ground unlike last year when the Ardennes and the Giro absolutely killed my team.

Sénéchal did well to pick up 40 points in the Tro Bro Léon. If he has the same program as last year he should pick up a lot of points in the upcoming strech of 4 Days of Dunkirk, Tour of Picardy, Tour of Belgium and Boucles de la Mayenne.

This week was kind of meh with only a bit more than 100 points, though I don't think many people scored very high. I was hoping for more in AGR with Wellens and Purito, but AGR is not their race.

Even though not all the startlists are complete, I think I've a shot at doing well next week, with Purito and Wellens :) :

Giro del Trentino-Melinda

NORMAN HANSEN Lasse
HENAO Sebastián
KUDUS Merhawi

Update #15: Quiet week doesn't stop see-saw battle at the top

After several big weeks in a row, only 3 teams scored over 300 points this week, and only 16 teams scored over 200. That results in a relatively minor shakeup in the overall table, although the continuing battle between PeterB and Geraint Too Fast for the top 2 spots sees the lead switch places again, for at least the 5th week in a row from my memory. Everything went right for vernakular this week relative to the rest of the field, as relatively unique pick Matthews led the charge from his 3rd place in Amstel. Handfuls of points from Gasparotto, Nocentini, Hivert, Kump and Marcato was enough for the top honours this week; only 6 riders scoring in a mid-spring week will rarely get you top spot, but with the dearth of top-rated races (one 1.HC race, a 2.1 race with few top teams and of course Amstel) it was enough for this week. Congratulations to vernakular!

This week's top scorers

Rank Team Points this week
1 vernakular 335
2 cj2002 315
3 BigMac 311
4 afpm90 285
5 Tuarts 274

vernakular doesn't do the double of highest movers this week, though - their team is not even in the top 5. The honours instead go to 2nd top scorer cj2002, who is in a slightly more bunched part of the rankings, and moves up a not-too-shabby 22 places on 315 points for the week.

This week's high movers

Rank Team Up/down
1 cj2002 (+22)
2 Tuarts (+21)
3 Eyeballs Out (+17)
4 gustienordic (+16)
5 Giallo (+12)

The points competition sees a few teams move about this week, as afpm90's stellar week gets their team into 3rd place, their first points since a week 7 win. Last week's top scorer vladimir's 3rd top 10 placing in the last 5 weeks gets their team into the top 10 overall as well.

Green Jersey competition

Rank Team Points
1 Kjellus 108
2 afpm90 97
3 LaFlorecita 85
4 vladimir 75
5 PeterB 74
6 Ruvu75 73
7 The Hitch 72
8 asdfgh101 69
8 jeroenk 69
10 EvansIsTheBest 67

In the overall, as I mentioned at the top of things, there isn't much change (nobody in the top 10 moved more than 3 spots), but there is change yet again at the very top. Minor points from Ruffoni, Hivert, Kump, Bol and a bunch of riders with less than 10 points is enough for Geraint Too Fast to move back into top spot, outscoring recent archrival PeterB 107-32 for the week. greenedge's consistent hold on 3rd place slips, as snccdcno's best-in-the-top-10 205 points for the week is enough to leap onto the podium. Skibby falls out of the top 10 as derrudi moves in.

Top 10 overall

Rank Up/down Team Points

2 (-1) PeterB 5612
3 (+2) snccdcno 5396
4 (-1) greenedge 5381

6 (-) skidmark 5216
7 (-) asdfgh101 5171
8 (+3) derrudi 5131
9 (-1) *Falze* 5128

The last two weeks could have been better, but I hope I'll be back on track this/next week.

Trentino:
Dombrowski
?Moser
Porte
Henao Seb
Meintjes
Kudus
Nerz
Vilela

Sounds like a pretty solid team and I'm anxiously awaiting utter disappointment.

Fleche:
Gesink
Le Gac
Betancur
Yates Simon
Henao Sergio
Jungels
?Moser
?Mohoric

Betancur, Gesink, Henao and Yates sure are guys that could do something here, but I have a hard time imagine it this year. Jungels was quite good at AGR, Le Gac abandoned that one. Moser also listed for Trentino, not sure if Mohoric really rides. 30 points are the minimum guys!

Not the best AGR for me, but not a good week for anyone so that's okay. This week looks a bit better maybe:

Trentino

Dombrowski
Moser
Porte
Filosi
Foliforov
Konrad

Some good potential there. Porte has been good at everything, Dombro can definitely be good, and Konrad and Foliforov are two of my most rare picks who have been promising this year, and who I could both see with a shot at a top 10. Moser is an enigma as always.

Fleche

Hivert
De Gendt
Vervaeke
Simon Yates
Mohoric
Rodriguez
Gesink
Sergio Henao

Henao and Rodriguez are serious favourites for the podium; I could see Yates getting a top 10, but it's too much for these other guys. Gesink normally would be a threat too, but not given his total lack of racing.

Liege lineup isn't finished, but I'd imagine it's a combo of the best riders from the prior two events.

La Roue Tourganelle

Gaudin
Hivert

Hivert is always a threat in French 1.1 races.

Turkey

Ledanois
McLay
Schumacher
Cavendish
De Gendt
Ewan

Cav and Ewan are threats for stages, obviously... don't see McLay getting a chance with Huta in the lineup. Otherwise it's a tossup - Ledanois could show something in stage races at any time, Schumacher might never get it back again but I'm hopeful, and to a lesser extent De Gendt is in the same boat.

Giro del Trentino-Melinda
DOMBROWSKI Joseph Lloyd
MOSER Moreno
PORTE Richie
HENAO GOMEZ Sebastian
BERHANE TEWELDEMEDHIN Natnael

Tour of Croatia
KUMP Marko

MOHORIC Matej
FROOME Christopher
HENAO MONTOYA Sergio
BETANCUR GOMEZ Carlos Alberto
DE CLERCQ Bart
DE GENDT Thomas
VERVAEKE Louis
GESINK Robert
YATES Simon

Nice, Kump also gets the leader's jersey so 31 points so far in Tour of Croatia :)

LBL line-up
STYBAR Zdenek
MOSER Moreno
HENAO MONTOYA Sergio
VALGREN ANDERSEN Michael
POLJANSKI Pawel

Ardennes classics a weak spot for my team it seems. Better make a note for next year :)

Tour of Turkey
RUFFONI Nicola
BLYTHE Adam
EWAN Caleb
RATTO Daniele

Hmmm must hope for sprint points :p
