OBE is going well for WT points - It's more a case of toughening up Ewan to ride classics in the future - Degenkolb and Matthews are both transitioning out of their teams so are riding more one day races - The two Canadian races are wide open.

So the 4 main contenders for GC seem to be Poels, D Martin, Dumoulin and Dennis.

Behind them riders like Cummings and Gallopin would have a chance depending on how its raced.

Van Baarle has a win and a top 10 here, whilst I'm not sure whether Movistar will ride for Izagirre or Moreno.

British riders Geoghegan-Hart and Doull could feature too, the latter depending on how he's recovered from his efforts in Rio. Adrien Costa is another youngster to look out for.

Doull said that he's here for help his teammates this time.

“It’s into the unknown a bit, I feel OK but racing is different. I will try to get into it as much as I can, I’m looking forward to helping other guys who have helped me in the past, guys like Jon Dibben. I’m looking forward to being on bottle duty as that’s what I’ll be doing at Sky.

Maybe Dibben could get a few top 10 at the sprints.

Yep, Cav, Lobato, Van Poppel all involved I think, thinned the finish a bit. All look ok, was a slow corner and by the look of the pie someone's wheel slipped and took a few down.

Let's blame Bouhanni.
I think we should blame Sky or power meters.

Nah let's blame Cav, he took everyone out on purpose again

What a c**t
