There are category 4 climbs in the Vuelta now?
A 4.2km climb at 8.5% was category 2 in the Vuelta a few days ago...
I much prefer long climbs to rolling hills. In pro racing this bears out even more, inevitably on mountain stages there's a gruppeto being formed even more early on and the forty-odd guys remaining just do tempo until that last climb. Meanwhile on the rolling stuff much more of the guys are expected to stay on for most of the stage.
