I went for a pretty top heavy team (I think) where I was able to fit a lot of my favourites in. I hope to place somewhere in the middle of the pack as I am not experienced at all with picking a team like this and probably have missed some pretty obvious picks! On top of that I was pretty late, but whatever. Good luck to everybody, I am very much looking forward to seeing how this game will develop. The 3 most common nations on my team are not unexpectedly Spain with 9 riders, Colombia with 6 and Italy with 5.

Absolutely loving this!
You will probably not win, but your team will be fun to cheer for.
Just one thing... Where's Barcelo?
You could also have chucked in Cristian Rodriguez, who I think will do well for Caja. Aranburu too. And Brandao!
Some of the picks in the range 101-36 points are not too inspiring, I think. Low points ceilings for a lot of those guys.
Yeah, looking back at it, thats also where I am the most skeptical about my team. Not only are they low ceiling, but they really aren't sexy. I still have some faith in Breschel, but I seem to be the only one. Preidler is low ceiling, but I still remember his win in the Giro and he is relatively young still, so he should also improve from a bad 17.
Im okay with Moreno, he had a horrible 2017, but the changed team to Deiko and will be one of their main riders if not their main rider in small stages races and hard one day races. Definitely worth a shot, he could be good. even though he is pretty old and isn't funny.
Navardauskas and Nizzolo are common picks, especially the latter. Pedrero is just a favourite pick, he climbed very well on a few occasions last year, so whatever. Lots of climbers on this team tho.
Haussler, Kantert and Moser are pretty common picks as well - especially Kangert. I have no problem with them in hindsight.
I like Ganna, extremely strong and young. Could do decently and seems pretty rare, I like that.
Not sold on Phinney, I have a hard time coping with the hipster Americans from Cannondale lol, but he is a strong rider which simply should be able to produce a lot more than he does.
So to conclude, I would like to have Breschel, Preidler and Phinney back, Im good with the rest.
What I regret the most is not picking Sondre Holst Enger instead of useless picks such as Egholm or Bouhanni - both where picked 100% for the lolz. Next time I will also go through all pro conti teams which I sadly didn't this time around.. and yes, I should have picked Barcelo, thats really, really stupid, should have stuck with my theme. The Caja-guys are funny, but I dont really know anything about them, but I will for sure follow them.
