Van Wilder going to sprint for the win today in France, and then the riders were send in the wrong direction ... again. Ridiculous.
Thanks, I'll change that - I noticed another rider (unique pick for armchairclimber) whose name was changed in CQ this week by simply removing an accent off an 'e'. I only noticed because I was going through that team for the update as they were in 2nd on the week, so I'm sure I might miss other perplexing changes like this oneThanks for the update @skidmark . It was a decent week. There is a discrepency between your speadsheet and the one on Shakes' page, which tallies with my own. We have me on 1394 in 16th, whereas I'm 1367 and 18th on the Dropbox sheet.
Edit: just found the anomaly. Clement Izquierdo 27 points. There's an accent on the first "e". Though I am pretty sure I copied and pasted all the names from the CQ site for my entry.
On the up side, he's a unique pick![]()
not much of scoring this week, so Magnier might be enough for good placingTulett is looking like a big miss from me for guys who were low risk high reward options.
Good points in Rwanda from Pericas along with Magnier and Bagioli but I think I have likely slid a few spots in the rankings.
Sören Waerenskjold is getting a tough week in march. According to PCS he's riding both Paris-Nice and Tirreno-Adriatico at the same time.
I don't even think he'll break even by the Tour.Van Aert looks impressively terrible for being one of the most obvious quad-digit picks of all time, he had better have timed a huge form peak for classics season proper...
*by end of the season. 2026 seasonI don't even think he'll break even by the Tour.
Might turn out to be a good thing that he's skipping San Remo for training.Van Aert looks impressively terrible for being one of the most obvious quad-digit picks of all time, he had better have timed a huge form peak for classics season proper...
He looks like a really good pick now.Another important rider´s spring schedule for this game is out!
Paul Magnier:
01.03 Omloop Nieuwsblad
04.03 Ename Samyn Classic
10.03 Tirreno-Adriatico
22.03 Milano-Sanremo
30.03 Gent-Wevelgem in Flanders Fields
02.04 Dwars door Vlaanderen - A travers la Flandre
09.05 Giro d'Italia
What do you think about his schedule? Would have wished, that he will start a bit earlier, last time his first points were already in Mallorca. On the other hand in february there are mostly only stage races, which means that scoring for a sprinter is limited anyway.
Aout his participaticion in the cobble classics. Well, if he is doing well there, could be a really good schedule. But if not, it´s not so good for us Magnier owners. So I am a bit uncertain, what I should think about this schedule..
Yes, out of the relatively expensive ones, I would say, that he looks together with Morgado as the best right now.He looks like a really good pick now.

A very good couple of CQ days for newcomer to the games @Qazaqstan : also top of the monthly update and current overall in the very early stages of the latest Emerging Riders gameUpdate #6: For Make Benefit Glorious Team of Qazaqstan
Opening Weekend is in the books, and some riders are looking quite good to their owners, while others are starting to show signs that may be worrying. And some haven't really started their season even yet! But the game is definitely afoot. Let's see how it shook out.
This Week's Top Scorers
Rank Team Points this week 1 Qazaqstan 520 2 Pantani4ever 461 3 Nyssinator 454 4 HoudiniCycling 451 5 slow_climber 428
One team gains over 500 points this week, and it's Qazaqstan. Their team had 4 big stars this week in Derek Gee (152 points, 6 teams), Roman Gregoire (130, 3), Paul Magnier (108, 37) and Ben Tulett (80, 56). The battle for 2nd on the week is close, with Pantani4ever coming out on top with 461 as one of 11 teams with Juan Ayuso (154), as well as Magnier/Tulett. Nyssinator is just behind with Gee/Magnier/Tulett (and 30 points from WvA, but we won't mention that).
This Week's High Movers
Rank Team Up/down 1 Qazaqstan (+31) 2 Pantani4ever (+21) 3 karaev (+20) 4 adamski101 (+19) 5 HoudiniCycling (+18)
The top 2 double up here this week, with Qazaqstan and Pantani4ever moving up 31 and 21 spots in the overall standings respectively. karaev ends up just behind as an Ayuso/Magnier/Tulett haver.
Green Jersey Competition
Jakob747 is the only team in the top 5 scoring points this week, but 16 points doesn't swap any places around, and Salvarani is still in the lead.
Top 10 Overall
Rank Up/down Team Points 1 (-) Jakob747 2383 2 (-) marksi 2183 3 (-) Salvarani 2034 4 (+1) triley36 1854 5 (-1) Gotland 1819 6 (+1) Squire 1818 7 (+4) Fivezzz 1806 8 (-2) DJ Sprtsch 1771 9 (-) skidmark 1756 10 (+15) Nyssinator 1752
No place movements on the podium, but Jakob747 turns a mere 8 point lead into a 200 point lead over marksi with a good week. Salvarani loses ground but stays in 3rd, while lower down Fivezz and Nyssinator vault into the top 10 at the expense of piexotini and Lortnoc.
This week the magnitude of races keeps ramping up, with some mid-week appetizers in Le Samyn and Laguieglia before Strade Bianche on Saturday, and the start of Paris-Nice!
