It's a little funny that CQ have decided to list Copenhagen Sprint as a continuation of the Odsherred Classic (which actually had a decent route by Danish standards), because they had put Copenhagen in the name despite it not actually being held there.

Gall, Kämna, TGH, Hayter and Démare gave me some points today, but that one day my team was in the top 10 is far away now.

After a slump lasting in excess of 2 months, finally a good week. Gall, Kamna and Van Wilder in Suisse. Hayter, Ganna and Vermeersch in Belgium plus few points from THG, Vernon and few others. By my rudimentary calculations that is 977 points this week. Happy with that, even if it is just temporary.

Skjelmose has a brilliant return to racing, and wins Andorra: 80 points. (Well, he won the race, I don't think the prize was becoming a Co-Prince of Andorra...)
Lund gets 5th in Copenhagen: 70 points.
Kragh gets 12th on the GC in Belgium: 29 points.
Søjberg gets 12th in Copenhagen: 27 points.
Charmig, Bjerg (apparently, he didn't OTL, nice), Johansen, Gregaard, and Kamp each get 5 points for making it over the mountains in Switzerland.
Changizi, Breiner, Pedersen, Bevort, Wallin, Stokbro, Asgreen, Foldager, Salby, and Price each get 5 points for avoiding crashes - or least getting back up again - in Copenhagen.
Nielsen gets 8 points for 23rd in Copenhagen.
Levy gets 5 points for finishing 43rd on the GC in Belgium.
And last, but... well... actually, totally least; Withen gets (*checks notes*) 1 point for finishing 14th in the Giro Next Gen.

Let's see if next week can bring some Danish Championship magic for me. Hopefully, everyone will stay off the Bike Lanes Friday.

E. Hayter scoring, as the only really popular pick which I don´t have, is not good news for me. Together with Riccitello crashing out of the Tour de Suisse, these two riders had been the weak points of the week. Hopefully Riccitello will stay at least at the startlist of Sibiu, where he would be the big favourite, given the startlist...
Positive is Demare finally scoring a huge amount of points. Together with Gall and Kämna that means still 3 places up for me this week.

Update #22: New Salvarani salvo smashes suspense

The ramp up to the Tour de France is almost done with some fun racing across Europe that shuffled the deck in the CQ game (well outside of one particular spot).

Salvarani comfortably wins the week after a rare off update for their standards the last time around. Having Almeida, Gall, Hayter, Kämna and Vermeersch certainly helped. Peixotini also crosses the 1000 points barrier with a similar group (minus Hayter). Two time former winner skidmark is third behind the efforts of Almeida, Hayter, Kämna and Grégoire. Squire is fourth which means that it's a clean sweep of the top 4 for the four Almeida teams. Adamski is the best of the rest with nearly 800 points on the week.

Four of the top five highest scorers repeat on this list, the only one missing being Salvarani due to starting the week in first place. You can't really climb higher than that though they sure are trying ! Armchair cyclist (Gall, Hayter, Kämna, Vermeersch) is the team that makes an appearance instead.

Oh look Salvarani is first here now as well. BITB in 2023 and EITB in 2022 are the only team to do the gree jersey/GC double. Might we see a third ?

Qazaqstan is now the only team within 1000 points of Salvarani (barely). Long time participants Madrazo and squire enter the top 10 taking hayneplane and Devils Elbow's spots. It's national championship week which is always a favorite of mine with some riders getting rare opportunities to shine. Last year, Redhead Dane topped the charts with basically the entire field in Denmark. Will we see a repeat ? I'm trying to come up with some form of suspense, it's not easy.
