There is inherent risk in 1000+ point picks too. If they go bust, that's a huge L - but is it more risky to have a 1000+0+0 combo than a 400+300+300 combo? It's also opportunity cost... Either way, I have my doubts on the entire 500+ crop. Still deciding between a fair few riders, even reconsidering some 800+ picks.. Some of the guys who made considerable leaps this year too among young riders, you just know someone is going to go from 300~ -> 1000, but is it worth it? Some of them go into quite stacked teams already... hard to really settle into the WT sometimes.
