Spoilt for dodgy choices where you don't know if they will come back like Laporte or like Jakobsen.

Your mind tells you to avoid anyone who has been injured without showing any signs of recovery but FOMO makes you pick them anyway.

This year, I also bet way too much on comeback riders, even though I wasn't sure if they'd be able to return to their former level this season. Sometimes a pick is safer, when you already see a rider perform at least in the last few month of the season like Laporte, as he basically showed top shape last year in october. So it was basically already clear for this season, that he has finally put his illness from last season behind him.
Well on the other hand I hoped for the same for Lafay, as he also performed in his last race last season after he struggled basically the whole season with knee issues. But...

Ya, I made the same observation with Laporte, even hoping he wouldn't score too much at the end of the year. I also saw something similar in Marco Brenner who finished 5th on a hard stage of Luxembourg which showed he still had the ability to ride well which he has also shown at the start of this year.

I have been at my lowest ever place in the ranking this week. 89th. Even some decent points in brabante pijl yesterday didn't help, and redhead Dane has passed me now, but somehow I have miraculously avoided being right at the bottom of the table.

My team is mostly climbers so hopefully it's the worst part of the season over for me. I can't let samu Cuenca pull away.

While it seems, that I made a lot of bad choices this year, I am at least glad, that I decided myself for Nordhagen and Bisiaux. It seems, that young riders (who are still not that expensive) are the more safe choice in comparison to comeback riders, when you are not 100% sure, that they are completely recovered..

Finally a decent week, with Nordhagen, Riccitello, Bisiaux and Cosnefroy.
Medium team for AGR ... Cosnefroy, Del Grosso and Kron my best hopes for points.

Very happy with Riccitello as a pick.

Ya, I'm kicking myself that I didn't consider him for another year since I had him last season. There was simply too many other picks to choose from.

Nico Vinokurov is my 4th rider, and my first unique pick, into profit after Hainan. (Laporte, dinnam and DF Martinez were already there)

I have lots of riders doing Amstel but I am not that confident in scoring points. I'm more confident to score at Trentino in the coming week.

Only with 46 points. Things can change quickly! (In fact, they might have already.)

BTW, @Shakes, what does this mean?

(Yes... I know what the top part means...)
Those are just identifiers. You are not really RedheadDane. You are number 38. Everyone in life is just a number.

But I am RedheadDane!

What does "Game 5" mean?
No. You are 38.

Game five means it's game number five. Number one was first one I tracked with a website two years ago Second one was giro game of that year. Third spring of that same year. Fourth was main game of last year. Five is this year and six is Womens version. It shouldn't show there but used it to check and then was too lazy to remove it.

Also annoying that I didn't make myself (player) 1. Googolplex is believe, as somehow he was first player I uploaded team from two years ago.

Shame that Remijn didn't convert his impressive ride into points, but still a good outcome with Cosnefroy flying, Vansevenant getting the result you look for when you pick him, and AWP showing that he has it when he doesn't crash for once. Given that I have neither Evenepoel nor Nordhagen, Riccitello or Bisiaux farming easy points, about as much as I could have asked for from my team this week.
