Are the time bonuses 8-4-2? If so, since there are only three seconds separating everyone in the lead group, doesn't that mean that if they stay away and finish as a group, then whoever wins the sprint takes the GC?

Wow Kruijswijk. Is he too good too soon or will he kill it in the Giro? Imagine him in the 3rd week if his form progresses as it usually does.

Ah, okay--I thought there was a graphic a little while ago showing that there was only a three second gap among the riders in the lead group, but perhaps that did not take into account bonus seconds today.

Last year in Scarborough Voeckler lost the sprint to a Sky rider with a Cofidis rider coming third...
