There are a couple of stages that I can't see him getting top 10 in, but add the one day races next week and he may well be in striking distance when the Giro starts.Top-10 in each of the remaining stages + in the overall?
Majka looks really good with the Giro still to come.Valverde has a lot of work to do if he wants to win this competition. Right now Sagan is the favorit. He will probably add at least 5-10 during the Giro. Probably never winning because he cannot beat quicker sprinters or the break takes the win. Krieger is probably going to run out of race days without a GT start.
Some of the GT GC riders still have a chance if they ride another GT this year.
If Landa does the Vuelta, we may have to wait two more weeksNext three Giro stages are crucial in this race. If Sagan wont win next three days he will win this legendary competition.
Well... that's the biggest win of his career gone for a stupid Giro stage win.
I think you rate this competition just a tiny bit too highly.
I almost thought Sagan took this race very seriously too. It looked like he wanted to break the record here. Still, a lot of second places would be required. No I don't. This is a very important competition!
