I think this thread is meant to be about armstrong, I guess landis is connected to armstrong but I don't think discussion about wheter floyd should join the army or not have much to do with this topic, so please stay on topic everyone(whatever the topic is :S).
Considering that this is the 'Armstrong talking points' thread, dialog about Floyd is appropriate both directly and indirectly.
The talking points include depricating and denouncing Floyd, since he is the Whistleblower.
In so doing, the talking points also learn from and directly leverage the Floyd misinformation campaign. To criticize Floyd for lying about doping in cycling simply joins the concepts of cycling-lying-doping.
Floyd learned from the hypos of Armstrong, and Armstrong and followers are showing an ability to learn from the hypocrisy of the Floyd fanatics.
By taking the same, failed, strategy the Lance army lowers themselves to below that which they criticize. It is Shakespearean in its failed contrivance.

dearest Dr, I did not contact my local politician or federal government about my bellyache. I hope they will discontinue the pursuit of a few dozen pro athletes no matter what the sport discipline. I hope that they will dedicate more resources to at least labeling genetically modified foods. I hope that if athletes are caught with banned substances in a given blood sample. I would hope that the FDA would be just as responsible after the substance is indeed found in the improperly marked, marketed and tested products. US athletes are taking suppliment powders and products that have illegal components. The sport tests often find the substance rather than the agency that we have allocated billions of dollars to do so.
Given the scope of the job, I think doing anything at Landis's suggestion is totally f-cking stupid. Before becoming a trusted advisor to the FDA he was found to be a fraud both on the playing field,a couple of sports courts and in the court of public opinion after writing a book filled with lies. Armstrong..DB sure he is. Should we spend millions confirming it at the expense of so many more important food and drug issues..NFW
Again, can I ask why posters like this - who consistently distract from any real dialogue and who refuse to remain civil - are tolerated here? Opposing viewpoints are fine, and there's a history of excellent discussions and disagreements, but posters like this display an unwillingness to think time after time.
I can tolerate the stupidity and adult man-love, but the mean-spiritedness is misdirected: look inward.
Jimmypop, as noted above, you and I saw the same craziness with the FFF. The more strident the argument, the more obvious in its distortion and foolish it becomes.
Lance's PR Team: Let's attack the messenger!
Lanceophiles: All praise Lance. Floyd is evil. Floyd took drugs. FLOYD HAD DRUGS. FLOYD HAD A BAD CYCLING UPBRINGING.
Err, and whose understudy was he? Where, exactly, did he get these drugs?
Repeat after me:
Floyd's career is highly correlated to Lance's career. Floyd was a cyclist. Lance was a cyclist. Lance is the self-annointed poster child of cycling.
Floyd won the Tour on drugs. Lance won the Tour. Lance is on drugs.
When you speak about Floyd and drugs, you speak about Lance and drugs.
If Floyd is a cyclist that lies, cyclists lie. Lance lies.
Got it?
Connected. At. The. Hip.
Dave.
