will be interesting to see how the sponsors react. Those he holds interest in will put on a straight face but others... Recall those running away from the greatest sport money machine ever: Tiger

I hope people can keep the quotations from the media fanboys ligget, sherwin, watson etc.. and post them here to be thrown out time and time again for when we feel down and need a laugh...

I'm quite looking forward to Sherwen, Liggett and Roll prognosticating on "a Certain Mr. Lance Armstrong, thank you very much".

BTW this was tweeted by Vaughters:

Time to get rollin... Tomorrow is going to be a VERY interesting day
I don't think he is only talking about the prologue, he would have phrased it differently had it been

BTW Papp, if you are reading this, when the article comes out, when might we expect your insights into the article, either here, on twitter or on your blog?

Papp's already blogged a precursor so I think we'll get his opinions one way or another. Besides, he's never passed up an opportunity to stick the knife into LA before!

Vaughters had a chance to speak up. He's a big disappointment.

There is a significant amount of documentation with the article I'm lead to believe. Its not just he said, she said type of report. Its been very well researched.

You can only connect the dots looking backwards. Someone kept records.

Welcome back Hog! I was hoping you'd make it back before everything hits the fan. Hoping you are right about significant documentation.

If therea are two things to count on...

After the apparent delay, you can count on every word in the WSJ on this to have been fact-checked and reviewed by legal many times.

What remains is whether what is there can be dismissed as "SSDD", or whether it will stick.

If it is truly a "Game of Shadows"-like expose then we will see an immediate piling on effect as other papers rush to cash in on public interest. Initially this will ust be regurgitation of the WSJ piece. If the tabloids get in on it then watch out. They can afford to pay for information. With Armstrong's long history of mistreating others, there has to be a lot of people out there willing to dish the dirt for a handful of bucks.

Wonder how many takers there would be for "$100,000 for anyone confirming LA doped".

Right, early to bed I think. Very busy day tomorrow and haven't really got time to spend the morning reading the article and responses. Will have to find time though. Wish it was released earlier today! :(

you know you are going to wake up at 2am and turn the computer on just to see if its online ;)

in an interesting twist afternposten paper is reporting on the two riders mentioned earlier this week saying

"Earlier this week, it was also revealed that the two of the riders in this year's tour will testify against RadioShack star, in a trial which will be managed by the U.S. Food Safety Authority."

co-operating yes, testifying? Or just wrong end of the stick?

To be honest I think the WSJ waited until the Hog was back:p

I too think it is nice that he who started the thread is allowed back. Pretty damn amazing that nothing happened in a week. :)

I think tomorrow will start to make up for this week, and the past 11 years...
