More shocking is the author. Demand claim their content ha a 5 year shelf life.

So a spin bike article written by.....

So far it’s been in name only; the state’s new $27 million-dollar Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer will incorporate the LiveStrong Cancer Research Centre, originally scheduled to open in August but now expected to be operational in February 2012. The LiveStrong charity has made monetary donations to other Australian states but has strangely overlooked the region he’s most familiar and adored in. (One of Armstrong’s requirements for racing the TDU, however, was financial support from the SA government to cancer research; at last year’s race, Premier Rann said his government gave a $7.5 million commitment to the LiveStrong Centre, along with $5.2 million annually in operating costs.)

Opening the facade and roof, the design team flooded the rectangular box with natural light, while re-milling the roof decking to construct 'boxes,' creating a dynamic neighborhood of interior spaces. The design also utilized the existing glulam beams as interior architectural elements, and re-purposed the removed concrete as retaining walls, garden elements and walkways. The renovated facility provides office space, meeting rooms, dining facilities, an in-house gymnasium, open-air courtyard, and parking for the staff.

my favourite:

...In addition, the building features video conferencing technology to allow staff to collaborate with other organizations without incurring travel costs.

Rent? They bought the space and paid for the full fit out!

Who needs a FFF when you've got the Livesttrong army donating to new office space!

Thats my point. .com gets office space with .org paying the bills.

You guys are going overboard, the large room looks to be a conference room slash eating area. The cubicles look normal and unflattering http://ow.ly/i/1MaB

It looks normal for a modern company.

Your last line is the whole point. THEY AREN'T A COMPANY. THEY ARE A NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION WHOSE BUDGET AND FUNDING COME DIRECTLY FROM DONATIONS. They don't 'earn' penny number one. All you see there comes from donations (either directly from parties or paid for by money donated by people).

The previous LAF HQ (at least at one time) consisted of donated office space, furniture, and equipment. That seemed like a reasonable and frugal way of running a non-profit organization. Now they look like some type of hip, over-hyped, high tech start-up, which I guess makes sense as those companies often burn up venture capitalists' money that is not their own, much like the LAF burns through money given to them in good faith by donors.

So sad and wasteful.

You know, I have no problem with people making and spending a heap of money, if they earned it honestly. More power to them. But seeing this kind of opulence based on deceit just makes my blood boil.

Just think of your boil had Lance used http://www.HermanMiller.com instead of all this low end cubes and chairs. There is nothing luxury about his office space. The one yellow stripe around the office can be retrofit in a couple of days or reduced so that the space can be used/sublet to another charity or non-profit that needs office space. Do you really think Armstrong got involved in the cause because he is deceitful? There is not much of a bike racer left in him..he has that whole I am holy, arrogant and a little self important but deceit? Just don't see how employing all these people in an organization that has so little to do with him makes everybody's blood boil

The Livestrong branded kiddie chairs, the ornate slate, the designer beanbags and artwork hanging from the walls is all within the spirit of a charity? Yeah right.
