And when in doubt, fall back on trying to sell more books! :p

And appealling to the casual cycling "fan" through said books, social media, and a general PR campaign.

I can't believe the content of this book and of Froome's (and Conde's) public statements. He may sound collected and articulate in interviews (compared to Wiggins, certainly), but he's just a bit too narcisistic for me.

Dear Mr. Froome: You are a grown-*** man who rides a $10,000 toy around in colored super hero underwear for a living. Stop taking yourself so seriously.

Answer: They are spewing so many lies they can't keep track of them.

Along with Walsh. Who appears to not even care to fact check information or follow up on details.

Sad.

it would be nice to have a thread, not for discussion, just listing the lies produced by Team Sky (and individual members) ever since their formation.
It's getting hard for us to keep track as well.

I love cycling, but have to admit there's quite a bit of truth in that.

That would be bogged down with ridiculous denials.

It's a very good idea though.

How about a summary of where the autobiography has "problems."

#####Impossible
2.1 race where Contador has bad mechanical luck. Froome states his proximity to finishing near Contador was some kind of benchmark of grand tour podium preparedness.
Froome doesn't do TUE's.

#####Ridiculous
Dropping stem adds 40Watts.

I can't recall others.

Froome doesn't take any medication or TUEs.

Froome's success is down to doing four-hour extra-curricular rides without a power meter with his pet dog Richie.

Just had a look at that stage. Froome got a bit close to pulling Evans away from Wiggo. For no good reason. What a load of BS. Froome's an a$$ hat

Best part for me was...

Describing now the chest infections and colds impacted his performance during his career.

A week before the release of the book, bigging it up how's there's no testing in Tenerife, then being found out for excessive cortisone use at Romandie whilst performing like an Ox.

So the reasons for former poor performances was coughs and colds but now when the same set or circumstances occurs he performs like a bull on speed?

Similarly just re looked at the stage........
It's the way froome didn't quite take wiggins back to the group, but nearly.
Leaving wiggins to go into the red to finally bridge.
Then froome attacks, but takes nearly everyone bar wiggins with him.

At the time, I put it down to over enthusiasm and niavity, now I just see resentment and selfishness.

Yup, certainly not the work of someone looking out for you. Too boot - he spent the first portion of the climb behind Wiggo.

He really wanted to prove it in that race that it should have been him and not Wiggo, even if it meant Wiggo losing. When I watch excerpts it is pretty clear he is not really helping that much, or what he does is counter-done by his strange 'non-supportive' work.

On another note, let's just hope there is not another autobiography (why this one so soon without much history or success makes no sense).
