My sentimental favorite, always bypassed, near Salins Les Bains (Jura). Le Mont Poupet. RIP to my uncle Alain, who got me into cycling and did that climb on his Peugeot 10-speed at least twice a week when I was a kid.

Jandri is awfull, can only finish there, I've heard it looks awful up there.

Better pave the Rosael and descend into Val thorens or even further, can have it 150k out and still create carnage.

I sense a poll here: which gravel road up a mountain should be paved first? ;-)

I just wish they'd bring back the stage to Luz Ardiden. It was a yearly stop in the mid to late 1980s and NEVER failed to disappoint. When matched with the Tourmalet it was epic.
