You could alsor pave part of the Cormet d'Arrêches which would allow a crazy combination with le Cormet de Roselend.

My sentimental favorite, always bypassed, near Salins Les Bains (Jura). Le Mont Poupet. RIP to my uncle Alain, who got me into cycling and did that climb on his Peugeot 10-speed at least twice a week when I was a kid.

I just wish they'd bring back the stage to Luz Ardiden. It was a yearly stop in the mid to late 1980s and NEVER failed to disappoint. When matched with the Tourmalet it was epic.
