The contract of 2 years dies out if Contador bears a 2 year suspension. Richie Porte becomes the only leader of SBS and Riis has to look for someone to replace Contador.

I'm sorry that I haven't read this entire thread so what I say may have already been said.....
I'm sure that Riis has wording in Contadors contract that the contract will be void if Contador fails a doping control.
The thing that I'm interested in is Saxo Bank themselves. Saxo's sponsorship deal ended this year and the only reason that they reneawed is because Riis got AC. I saw a story a few days ago that hinted that Saxo may pull their sponsorship if AC is suspended.
Can they do that? I'm sure that Saxo has clauses in their spponsorship contract to protect them from a doping scandal but this scandal doesn't actually involve the Saxo Bank squad. AC's positive happened while he was at Astana and in no way involves Riis or anyone at Team Saxo.
