I had a bet on Talansky at 15/1 (less now) for outright at Bet365. There is also a book at sportingbet now.

For Prologue, it's hard to see past Froome, but do you think any outsiders/climbers have a chance such as:
Gesink, Hesjedal or even your man Machado, all at 33/1 ?

yeah very few covering romandie, thought skybet would pitch in with some odds since its live on skysports, no odds on turkey either its all bit of let down.

Valverde to go stage hunting here, spilak is big price

skybet and stanjames have odds for romandie now

Froome now 2/1 in places for prologue (same as T Martin !)

Does Martin really have that good a chance for the prologue?

Giro :)

Podium Finish - Betancur 21

Top Ten - Weening 26 and Pirazzi 26

Stage One - Phinney 151ew

All bets with PP.

How much did you put on Pirazzi? I like this bet.

You should put some on Fabio Duarte as well. If you got a little small change to spare.

Umm

Points
Wiggins @ 11 EW
Scarponi @ 21

Top3
Scarponi @ 10 (Paddy, only around 8 @ Betfair)

Top10
Evans @ 2.20
Siutsou @ 30
Pirazzi @ 30 (gogogo 10min break)

Thinking Delfino for KoM? Can't be bothered counting up the climbs though.

Usual points system isn't it? Rule book hasn't been updated from last year yet.

Stelvio: 21 15 9 5 3 2 1
1: 15 9 5 3 2 1
2: 9 5 3 2 1
3: 5 3 2 1
4: 3 2 1

Looks to me as though it's impossible for a GC rider to win unless they are completely dominant winning 3 MTFs and Stelvio.

Not that I drink really any more, but all my betting stakes are what I call beer money (and since the price of alcohol has been going up, it's more like half a pint of beer money :D).

I actually wouldn't mind losing this bet though. I'd prefer to see the mad Pirazzi attacks and maybe a stage win or two, maybe even KotM, than watching him trying to hang on the Astana/Sky trains just to fight for a boring top ten.

I wish you well with all your bets.

Pirazzi has promised to ride more conservative. However, lets see if he actually keeps that promise.

PaddyPower seem to be investing some effort in getting markets up this year.

They already have Stage 2 markets up, with big vaue bet at Astana at 100-1. Kessiakof, Gruzdev, Nibbles etc, surely better than 100-1 implies.

Shame they only let me bet 1 euro now !
