Hi all, first time post after a long time watching, so please bear with me !
Can someone explain odds of 7:4 on there being less than 5.5 Yellow Jersey holders ? - in my opinion Gerrans holds on till Saturday then Froome takes it on Ax - 3D and holds to the end = 4.
Dont really see how there can be 6!
Your prediction is already out. However the fact that you are thinking ahead puts you streets ahead of most punters.

p.s. I don't know if Froome wants the jersey so early.

Sky don't care too much, especially not enough to leave time on the road. I doubt Contador puts the time necessary into him so the only alternative is Porte which isn't totally absurd. There is probably a 50% chance of a break taking it on one of the two days. The typical break climbers who miss it tomorrow will do their best to minimise losses and then try and make back the 4-5 minutes on Sunday. The overs traded down to 1.22 today, which is a bit short IMO.

Couple of quickies for tomorrow, both with PP.

Talansky 101ew
Navarro 151ew - he has to do something after the Cofidis no-show so far

Lots of other tempters, but I'll wait and see what happens to the prices.

I've laid Cav for tommorow.

Alot of scenarios where he doesn't win.

Probably 70-30 in his favour if all the sprinters are there,
But Sagan could push the pace and blow him off the climb
Or the break could make it.

Anyway 3.4 looks too short to me so I've laid it.
Nailed one at last. Ok So its only 1-3 on when you lay. But it was never in doubt. Thankyou Cannondale

1-3 win is better than 300-1 lose

I tried something a little different yesterday on betfair. basically a bet that omega would close some of the 5 minute gap coming off the first big hill. Cavendish was on 10 when Cannondale summitted, but dropped to ~5 after Omega joined up with lotto and reduced the time gap. So ended up almost 2/1 payoff on something that felt low risk.

Then feeling like a real wheeler/dealer I took the proceeds and bet on Boasson Hagen FTW! Oh well!

Yeah he looked pretty strong, but I guess that's easier to do if you're dragging somebody about who looks cooked. :p

I'm assuming you were on them ew?

My ante-post bets are slowly getting whittled down. Gesink and Hesjedal have bitten the dust which leaves three still standing.

I'm not usually a fan of H2H bets, but this one jumped out at me for Tuesday's sprint stage.

Tour De France C Evans V B Mollema

Stage Head To Heads
C Evans @ 3.50

Evans usually likes to finish well up in sprint finishes.

Every single flat stage he has finished ahead of Mollema.

Stage 10 H2H

Andreas Kloden 5/6
Maxime Monfort 5/6

(bet365)

Monfort usually likes to ride at the front while Kloden has no reason to be at the front these days.

In the 3 pancake flat stages this year (1,5,6)....

Kloden 184, 135, 30
Monfort 76, 30, 40

Hard to find Costa in the betting on some books and as big as 200/1

Surely based on Swiss ITT should be in the top 10 in the betting? Or am I missing something?

Voigt over Bauer @ $2.20 (Unibet) - seem to have taken it down now
Rodriguez over Martin @ $1.85 (Unibet) - best price there than other books
Gesink over Navarro @ $2 (Unibet) - obviously I don't have the correct weights, but Gesink is heavier than Navarro and has a bit on him usually.

Porte top 3 @ $7.50 (Sportingbet)

Froome to win @ $5 (Sportingbet) - Money back if he comes 2nd.
