If you have a punt on cycling, throw your bets in here. That's what I'm going to do.

Aim: To get to $2000 by the end of October. Obviously I will aim higher, but got to stay with what is realistic.

$40 Pinotti over Dupont @ $1.57 (Stage 19)
$30 Basso top 3 @ $1.80 (Stage 19)
$20 Basso over Scarponi @ $1.85 (Stage 19)
$20 Basso over Evans @ $2.25 (Stage 19)
$30 Basso to win the Giro @ $1.55

What do you mean a bit long? They were the stage 19 head to heads. I.E the position the riders finish on the stage.

The only overall bet in there was Basso to win the Giro.

But to answer your question: Bet365, Sportingbet and Centrebet

Bold = Winners
Unbold = Losers
Underline = Pending

+$51.8 not including Basso winning the Giro. Though, he won't lose, you can't count your chickens in this game.

Was referring to the odds on Basso to take the win.

Wish I had layed Evans at the end of week 1!

Dauphine:

The odds are exactly as I thought.

Contador $1.80 to win

Contador $2.30 to win prologue
Millar $3.25 to win prologue

Will wait for some head to heads to come through. If there's nothing decent, I"ll be giving this week a miss. Hard to get an idea on what is going on with Contador.

Might do a small play on EBH to win the prologue. $12. If he's in form, he should do it.

We'll see if I decide anything later in the afternoon when more odds are around.

Odds on Van Garderen moving up and down ... took him at 2.04 at Pinnacle, he started as a fav there but odds changed a lot. Dont see a reason why people are backing Coppel. Ok he rides in his home country and thats always a motivation but this short prologue should suit Van Garderen much better then Coppel. We'll see what happens.

Where did you get the bet Horner over Mangel??

Sportingbet, mate!

Both the Brittish and Australian ones have it.

In the Paris Nice prologue, Horner finished 3 seconds behind Mangel so with a bit more climbing, he should have enough to get him. Thomas finished 20 odd seconds ahead of Roulston, hence the Thomas bet. I know Roulston finished third in a chrono not long ago.

Van Garderen should come top 10, could even push top 5. I wouldn't be surprised if he actually comes up with a win, but Top 5 and 10 would be good for him.

Ok thanks, normally most match-ups are the same at all bookies but at Pinnacle and bet365 (those 2 i use most) its Horner versus Tjallingii.
Horner is in great shape this year but i read on his blog he feels pretty tired after California, he only arrived in France after 20 hours of travelling so its very possible legs arent gone be what they were the previous races.
In normal conditions he should beat Tjallingii and Mangel ... but in cycling anything can happen :)

Yeah, we'll see. Brajkovic did 8:39, Mandel did 8:59. On a normal day, Horner should do something in-between. So we'll see how he feels but looking at these times so far and considering the big guns haven't come out, I think it's looking good!

Just realised Roulston didn't start, so that bet will be a refund. I wish H2H's were all in, but they're not!

Nice ride from the American. Pity Contador beat him by two seconds. Nearly was a brilliant day.

Amazing Van Garderen!!!

Nearly got there. That would have covered my overall bets. ;)

But anyway, strong ride from him. Very strong ride.

To answer your question regarding the books.

Bet365, Pinnacle and Sportingbet do good ones. Centrebet in Australia also do great head to heads. Nearly trump them all with the value. Sportingbet and Centrebet don't change their odds regardless of how much money is put on. Only Bet365 and Pinnacle do.

3/3 and almost Van Garderen at 41, very strong man!!

I'm happy with my pick on Van Garderen, Tjallingii did beat Horner so i'm glad i skipped that one. Thanks to blogs and twitter betting on cycling gets a bit easier! You cant draw a conclussion out of odds going up and down. Van Garderen started at 1.85, went down to 1.56!!! and then up to 2.04 ...

I'll keep an eye on Sportingbet and Centrebet, i also use Unibet and Bwin but they often have only little amount of match-ups and Unibet has incredibly stupid rules!!! When you bet some rider wont finished in top 10 and he does not finish they void the bet :confused:. And Bwin doesnt want to except my money anymore, i tried to deposit 3 times today and they send back my money ... never had that 'problem' with a bookie :D

Prologue: Profit of $48.75

With the overalls still in play I'm still $76.25 down on what I started with. We'll see how those play out during the course of the week.

Nothing really that tempts me tonight. A break will probably take it with guys like Dumoulin etc fighting it out.

Will Samuel Sanchez try something? He's $1.83 v Kreder. But again, backing something tonight is 4 hours of russian roulette unless you've backed one or two guys at long shots in the hope they get in the break.

I actually don't follow twitter and blogs that much. Do you get good information most of the time?
