Good article, but perhaps nothing new in this.

Be careful. Some of it is speculation. My impression is that USADA will be much more careful than suggested. There is no hurry. The evidence is still accumulating.

In the animal world, predators have their eyes close to the center of their face, so that they can focus better on their prey. Animals that are mostly prey have eyes toward the side of their head, so that they can scan a larger portion of the environment for predators. Human beings are the predator type, and it is quite natural that we see people whose eyes are especially close together as being extremes of this type.

Yeah I know. I wish he would tell the whole truth and explain the circumstances that made doping necessary. I.e. the corruption of the UCI. Somebody has to break the chain and Bjarne is in a position where he could really make a difference.

Was it common knowledge that the evidence USADA has is their own rather than evidence they acquired from the Federal investigation... That fact, at least was news to me. Maybe I missed it up thread.

Pretty much, although some riders asked USADA to sit in on their interviews with the Feds/GJ.

It was news to me as well if you are referring to what was written in the BBC article. I thought it was about 80:20 in terms of 80% acquired from the fed case and 20% acquired from USADA's own investigations.

This could be bad news for Armstrong in terms of the fed case being re-opened.

Anyone know when JB is due to face arbitration? When USADA's evidence does come out, do you think they will name their witnesses? I hope to find out whether Hincapie has testified against Lance.

RR's More Credible Witness

Per Benotti69's guess up the thread about Kik or Sheryl Crowe--RR said many months ago that Kik had spilled to investigators, and he said in the last week or two that Crowe was "able and willing" to say what she knows. Sorry, don't have time to find the actual posts right now....

Also I doubt the witness would be Kik because LA most likely has a non-disclosure clause in their divorce settlement that forbids her from talking. This is just my guess.

He can have all the non-disclosure he wants. Those don't work if we're talking about something that's illegal...

If Kik wants to testify to something that's to do with breaking the law she can do that no problem...

But anyway - I'm thinking it might be one of the samples stepping forward:
"Yes - it was me. It was in 2001, we were somewhere in Europe - Switzerland I think - and then it happened. I admit it, I went positive"
