Cool! New pics. That is great to bump this again. Elapid, I see the Vienna Woods! I want to get back there....we rode the little Lilliputbahn train when my son was 4---seems a long time ago. Gorgeous place.
(I have to admit I cringe and can't look at your av)

I would post my mugshot, but this forum is viewable by anybody who googles it, so I'm a little wary

Me on a very short MTB tourist ride outside of Dubrovnik, Croatia two weeks ago. It was very hot so this little river was a nice place to cool down. I had MTbikes as a kid, that was all anyone of my friends had and we used to ride through the forest and meadows and so on. Then when I got older I used my dad's road bike and got my own for my 18th birthday. This was the first time I've done offroad cycling since my childhood and I must say I really liked it! Makes me want to buy a MTB and get back into it... some day when I have money :)

This is one of a few cycling-related T-shirts that I have. It's a bit of a hobby for me to collect them, I have about 4 "neutral" ones like this, and then a few from the Tour de France and two of the Schleck brothers (one signed) which I won by luck of the draw.

Please note: the pink bike was my sister's :)

For some reason, a lot of the photos are "gone". As a Mod, I can see that at least some of the links are still there, but I guess that something happened on the other end - somebody moved the pics, or whatever.

I am not ready to post a picture of myself yet, as I am still working on losing weight, and I would be embarrassed to have a photo posted in a cycling forum. Well - not so much today - as I've already lost about 50 pounds, but a year or two ago - way too embarrassed. Even my facebook pic is not something readily recognizable - you couldn't pick me out on the street using it.

But, things are moving in the right direction, so I might put something in here. Meanwhile, picture a once good-looking fella in his 60's - rather bald now - but yet with a halo of dark hair, bordered by white. The hair never really went "grey" - just turned white - so now it is two-tone! I'm not in bad condition for a guy my age, although I had gotten quite overweight for a while. But I'm still overweight for a cyclist.

I usually carry some sort of facial hair - currently it is a goatee of sorts, and it is quite greyed - I keep it neatly trimmed - not one of those shaggy beasts. Sometimes I cut it back to a trim moustache.
