It's shocking how accurate the comparison to his win in Innsbruck actually is. He's the man who was able to ride everyone off his wheel in the junior ranks, went to the pros and just kept doing it. That will never not be incredible to me.
At least today he didn't lose 2 min due to a mechanical first

In fairness, he was very much helped by being the only of the favourites, and even semi-favourites, to end up in the front group that the peloton lost control of, but then again he wasn't there by accident. A bit like Gilbert's Ronde, except that he didn't need a crash behind to seal the deal.
