Interesting that both Aebersold and Tim Torn Teutenberg (like Nurbergen Nurlykhassym, it feels like one of those names that "have to" be said in full) are currently stagiares. It must have been decided that they aren't quite ready for WT yet.

Euskaltel have signed Victor de la Parte. They obviously can't sign the best Basque riders, but an experience guy who's still able to score more than 100 UCI points in a season, will be valuble in the continued fight to become a top 30 team. I'm hoping they'll soon announce Aberasturi as well.
Wonder if he was injured this year. Or did Total not bother racing and farming ez points with him?

Parents who give their kid such names that it becomes a 3 word altiteration have to be a bit on the spectrum, just saying.

I would think my track record on the few posts I do here (mostly pretty well ahead of time) show it wasn't a podcast or newspaper.

Are you a rider agent?
And if you are, are you actually allowed to post this here before the teams announce it?

The definition of well-known on this forum is: "has a results database on PCS"

And I just did it!

With a name like that he's pretty much born to be a team time trial specialist, aka TTT.

What would it take to be a TTT specialist? It's generally considered a team effort. I suppose a great overview of things, knowing who should take long pulls, who should take short pulls, when, and where.

I suspect that having just had success at the Volta with Luís Ángel Maté, they figured that signing a 37yo with doping history from their catchment area will be perfect to get them redy for the race.

Well as long as he doesn't contribute to a 2013 like season, where half the new signings left involuntarily, then it's alright with me.
