Dani Martinez on a 1 year deal blows my mind. What the hell is that?
Great young guy.Carlos is staying.
Uh. No.(QUOTE!)According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, more specifically the journalist specialized in the cycling market, Ciro Scognamiglio, Carlos Rodriguez will almost certainly remain at INEOS and will not leave for Movistar: "Updated information: The 22-year-old Spanish rider, 5th in the Tour de France and Spanish champion in road cycling in 2022, will probably (80%) remain at INEOS Grenadiers".(END QUOTE!)![]()

If Rodriguez stays does this mean the end of the Remco rumors?
Finally a decent climber for Astana once again. Won't fill the void that MAL left on his own, but it's a start.Lorenzo Fortunato to Astana

Brailsford was at Le Tour which was unexpected as he's been pretty much 100% focused outside cycling on Ineos Sports so wouldn't surprise me. Also explains departures of primarily riders looking to become GC leaders maybe as clearly it will be a Remco, Thomas & Bernal show for the next couple of years there.A few weeks ago there was talk about a meeting between Brailsford and Quickstep owner Bakala and there are some crazy rumours that Bakala already sold his shares to Ineos owner Ratcliffe and that the merger is happening.
Apparently Carlos Rodriguez will stay with them, so he'll probably be the nr. 2 gc guy, unless Bernal bounces back really fast.Brailsford was at Le Tour which was unexpected as he's been pretty much 100% focused outside cycling on Ineos Sports so wouldn't surprise me. Potentially, if you add up Ineos and Soudal-QuickstepPotentially Rodriguez or Bernal + Landa for the Giro?
Interesting. Carlos and Remco are very good mates apparently and Remco is good mates with Thomas. But who knows what's going on or not.Apparently Carlos Rodriguez will stay with them, so he'll probably be the nr. 2 gc guy, unless Bernal bounces back really fast.

slow but steady improvements though, he was the most active on the final arctic race stage and looks ready for real mountains such as in the vueltaI had high hopes for Hellemose (even picked him for my dynasty fantasy team: https://firstcycling.com/dynasty.php?ID=2017&y=2021), but his results over these two years have shown no similarities to his breakout-season in 2021.
Trek just announced Gibbons.Any of that been confirmed?

Gibbons for starters, knew he was signed already when I made the post. Just wasn't announced. But which one was confirmed by the time you first posted it?

But how did you know? What sort of secret source did you use?
Just accept that Colonel knows his stuff and is kind enough to share their information.
Yeah, the guy can climb really well. H should probably focus a bit more on hillier one day races.Gibbons was top class in stage 20 of the 2021 Vuelta, I remember him attacking the breakaway in the hills and them having great difficulty catching him, he was just unlucky that the race totally kicked off behind him.
