This signing is going to render a verdict whether Ineos still can develop general classification prospects or all other gc talents either stayed away or even left like Tao for good reason!
It's not. This signing is going to render a verdict whether Ineos still can develop general classification prospects or all other gc talents either stayed away or even left like Tao for good reason!
It's not.
Or let me phrase this differently: how will you determine whether they have succeeded or not?
Neither did I.He didn't write that the verdict would be rendered now, or even next year.
Neither did I.
Sigh. You asked how it would be possible to determine whether they [Ineos] have succeeded in developing GC talents. Well... we can't. Not now. But, in 5 years, it might just be possible.
Finally a woman that understands me!You asked how it would be possible to determine whether they [Ineos] have succeeded in developing GC talents. Well... we can't. Not now. But, in 5 years, it might just be possible.
My question still stands. How will you determine whether they succeeded in developing him? Does he need to win a grand tour, does he need to get a podium? Finally a woman that understands me!
I would say a top 5 as an indicator of talent followed up by either a podium or even a win of course. My question still stands. How will you determine whether they succeeded in developing him? Does he need to win a grand tour, does he need to get a podium?
I'm surprised that J. Van den Berg is leaving. I kinda expected him to stay because EF's 2024 team is very climbing heavy and they have few riders who truly specialise in flatter races.
once again, pro teams / pro cyclists contracts should go from Nov 1st to Oct 31st. I imagine Roglic training with an unbranded S-Works shoes and bike, same as Tao with his black Trek etc etc. avoiding official pics and many marketing opportunities for teams and brands. so weird
As someone with a lot of speed but not much else, he should be ideally suited to the Asian calendar. But if they're expanding in Europe, maybe he won't go east too much.Continuing the semi-Italiafication of the team (base in Italy, Volpi manager and Boaro a DS), JCL-UKYO announce their first Italian rider.

I thought they'd be signing old guys, so good to see them picking up someone still in his relative prime and now that you can be based in Europe, but still get the good Japanese wages, it's probably quite an attractive proposition.
UCI still dreaming of racing in Asia in November and December?once again, pro teams / pro cyclists contracts should go from Nov 1st to Oct 31st. But yeah, seems silly to do it this way, the important thing is that Riders doesn't ride Vuelta for Team A and then goes to Lombardia for Team B.

Juul-Jensen and Hepburn get two more years and Lawson Craddock one more year.
Those sweepstakes are a few years and a ton of development away.EF Development Team has fallen. This is big news for the Ashlin Barry, Enzo Hincapie sweepstakes.
Trust me, they are not. Ashlin Barry is the biggest thing to come out of NA since ... I don't know. Those sweepstakes are a few years and a ton of development away.
