Or that we don't get a situation like the 2020 Vuelta ever again. The morning of stage 12 would have been a confusing mess if contracts ran from Nov 1st to Oct 31st. Though, it that case they would probably have been extended to the race had concluded.
Can you please actually post the transfer and details on it rather than just a random pic that could mean anything .

Unfortunately, if you're not logged in on Twitter X, the posts just appear in a random order, and usually all the important information is on the picture anyway. But, in this case I was able to locate the relevant post:

I don't know enough about Barry, but not sold too heavily on Hincapie.
Ashlin Barry is the son of Michael Barry, which makes question marks regarding his development validated, as he might have access to high level training equipment and such. However, this is speculation. Purely speaking about what we can see, this is a rider who is doing things we have never seen before at that age. He used to pummel AJ August, for instance. He came to Europe for the first time this year, and beat down everyone in l'Ain and Belgium. Will be a first year junior next season.

I know who he is and what he has accomplished. Don't know enough about his power growth curve to have a guess of his capabilities as a 19 yr old.

Anyone know why Hess cycling are relocating to Britain ? I can't see the angle they're playing yet, except maybe a guaranteed invite to Ride London

"Hess: Meet the British-focused women’s cycling team with big ambitions and a lot of money - " https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cycling/67212911

It says in the article that the Hess guy is based in London, so I assume that's the reason. If you want to get into international media, you're probably also better being based in the UK rather than Luxembourg.

Cool, more young blood to watch develop.

Marco Brenner (DSM) to Tudor.

As a team though is that still the case?, the current 3 proconti level Brit teams arent that well known outside the British scene, maybe Awol O Shea is as didnt they spring out as an offshoot from Liv ?

But there are precious few UK races left to showcase themselves,to get the invites theyll need and the majority of races they'll want to be in will be in Europe.

Plus you've got all the currency conversion pain.

Ineos are only based in the UK because Sky initially setup as a pseudo British Cycling trade team.

It will be interesting to see how it develops, I just can't fathom the why part yet or who benefits from it. Which makes me question the strength of what they're doing given how precarious most teams seem to be.

After renewing their core (leaving are veterans Navarro, Madrazo and Ezquerra, the latter linked to a WT team -possibly Astaná-), Burgos is expected to announce the signings of Aaron Gate and George Jackson today. Both are considered to be certain to have signed for next year.

Edit: They've just been announced.
George Jackson to Burgos is a very intriguing transfer.

For now it's just a bit of a weird team. We'll see whether they will stay around for a while like the Contreras family's Cogeas/Roland team or if it'll end in another disaster.

There are big rumours about Nairo tonight, but there has been a lot of crying wolf this season.

Anyone know if El Pais is reliable?

Edit:

According to El País, Nairo Quintana signs for one year for Movistar Team. The negotiation began in the Andorra stage of the last Vuelta a España.

Statements by Eusebio Unzué “From a more selfish perspective, I have to say that Nairo is a great reinforcement. He is only 33 years old and he is in shape, I know, because he has not stopped training in Andorra, where he lives with his entire family and where he maintains a great relationship with Enric Mas, the team leader.”“Obviously, he will work for our leader, Mas, in the grand tours, but he will have the opportunity to show that he is still a winner in other races”
