Im #justsaying I got moaned at once for not quoting offical confirmations of moves, so dont complain to me about posting official confirmations of moves, even if theyre already known unofficially...ok :kissing:

Sometimes - rarely - they are.
And then there are all the time we get silly stuff like Pidcock to Q36.5, until the guy who started the rumour had to go rescind his claim.

Not the mention the annual rumour of Evenepoel leaving QS, despite the fact that he has repeatedly said that he's gonna stay to the end of his contract.

It's a strange one! I thought he was retiring. His issue is not the post covid era but the sudden death of his father in 2023. He would have won the Aussie RR in 2023, except, for a poorly timed mechanical and has never recovered form after taking a period away from racing in 2023

Didn't know about that. I found it weird he dissapeared after a solid 2022 Giro and several succesful seasons, now it all makes sense. Maybe a new environment might help him to restart his career.

He is still a very young man and having to cope with losing someone so dearr can be extremely hard. I sincerely hope he can celebrate a success soon and get back on track again.

Ooo, I thought of a way we could differentiate rumors from official announcements and wreak havoc at the same time. Remember the multi-colored font thing? 🤪

All of that and they still gonna be mid af

I thought the reason the announcement was being drawn out was because they would present it simultaneously with the expected Specialized deal. Unless they needed it to come out now in order to secure some other sponsorships, I don't really understand why today was chosen.

Also, I had expected her to sign for more than two years, because I know the team is focused on reaching a peak by 2028, and they've also signed both Muzic and Labous until 2027. However with the continued growth in women's cycling, it probably makes good sense for Vollering not to commit for longer (yet), and it's obviously also possible that Specialized won't be backing them after the 2026.

I'm a little confused.
Is Vollering joining FDJ to ride her bike... or play the piano?
Both?

I always learned that Dutch people are considered the best English speakers among the non-native ones, but damn Demi is horrible at it. Even when reading a text.

(Personally I don't agree with given statement. I'd put some Scandinavians and Flemish people up there at least as much.)

The biggest transfer in years and literally nobody is talking about it. The only thing world cycling has been missing is a good Astana team. Astana is back.
