there's been an explosion on the Spanish twitter. the guy is strongly hated, very strongly. I am enjoying the dozens angered Spanish tweeps. (maybe he deserves the hate, I don't know, but I've always sided for the guys getting the hate, well I'm a Sky fan )

He's known for being pretty marmite as a character in MotoGP so who knows what Lidl Trek are thinking
Someone you either love or hate.Sorry, can you translate that?
Delicious on toast? He's known for being pretty marmite as a character in MotoGP so who knows what Lidl Trek are thinking
Yes it wasn't just the fans but his fellow riders and teams, was the rumour he partly retired because no one wanted to work with him anymore he caused that much grief sometimes. Definitely a big ego.the MotoGP fan-scene is a toxic one, so it's not so much about Aleix himself I think, but more that he had trouble with guys like Marquez, Rossi, Miller etc in the past, so consequently also with their fans.
He has a big ego for sure, but that's the case for everyone in motor sports. If Trek turns him into a sprinter, they should be fine.
