Widar can ride a bike like the best of them, but he is an arrogant loud mouth. I think he is capable of anything in regards to his contract. As proven evident by his sudden extension.

Good signing for me. Struggled with Jayco unfortunately but hope he does well there![]()
(Love how they're specifying that it's the men's team he signed with. )

I don't know. I don't think he needs to perform at WT level before riding a GT. It's not like he would be under any pressure to perform in his first GT and for a young rider it means a lot to have a GT in your legs as part of your development. No reason to wait really. His worth go up next year as he's still devo, then in 2026 he won't ride a GT yet probably, unless he starts performing in WT immediately

They've come out and said he's not riding a GT until 2027?I'm not saying that's my opinion, but for now his first GT is planned in 2027, not 2026. It can obviously change quick. I expect him to do a good amount of pro races already next season and if he performs in them it can go fast. Only reason he's still officially a devo rider is cause of the new Worlds and EC rule.

didn't know this side of himWidar can ride a bike like the best of them, but he is an arrogant loud mouth. I think he is capable of anything in regards to his contract. As proven evident by his sudden extension.
Yes.Yes.
Did you click the spoiler?
Yes.
But don't pretend that hiding his first name wasn't a conscious effort on your side.![]()
Balanced by hiding the picture under a spoiler. Not writing his first name was less of an effort.
Is he like juraj Sagan or Antonio nibbles?Pidcock to Q36.5

He seems to be. Won a Ronde de l'Isard stage but otherwise his results on the road are pure mediocrity and wouldn't really merit a pro contract unless there's more to him than meets the eye.Is he like juraj Sagan or Antonio nibbles?
The Quick Pro AR one is one of the bikes that Joe is selling at Panda Podium, it was developed with the riders (first version was deemed too stiff by Martin Laas). Still a super cool team with the Estonians and lots of Mongolians. I'm thinking about getting that bike costum built...So, according to PCS, Blake Quick has signed with Roojai. Which is disappointing, as he really should have signed with this team:
Quick Pro Team 2025
Quick Pro Team 2025 is a cycling team from Estonia. Their main riders are Mihkel Räim, Martin Laas and Karl Patrick Lauk.www.procyclingstats.com
(It's the Pandas, who have gotten a significantly boringer name. And I know 'boringer' is not a word...)
I've thought for ages she's made for it; trains huge distances, and has very little explosivity, which costs her in XCO races - but thrives in XC Marathon, where she won Worlds as a 20 year old, a few years ago, when its usually a older riders forte.Mona Mitterwallner to Human Powered Health. I didn't see that one coming, but I've hoped she'd give road racing a proper go for quite a while.
Redbull did not try get Donnie, this was a proposed offer to Redbull from management and they did not offer Donie a WT contract, only Devo.He is pretty attached to his friends. Donie being at Lotto has a lot to do with him staying. Red Bull also tried to get Donie, but he didn't really want to move (and also does not have a clause in his contract). Eeman is someone else who's really good friends with Widar. Those 2 are probably the best way to keep Widar as long as they can as they might not be good enough for Red Bull in the future (well Donie might be, Eeman won't be).
Anyways, 2027 isn't far away. His worth wont really go up next year as he's still devo, then in 2026 he won't ride a GT yet probably, unless he starts performing in WT immediately I think money wise he will be within Lotto's limit's, and then it's already 2027. Of course I expect more Widar tantrums (every time something goes wrong) so anything can happen but at least Lotto isn't just developing him now for nothing.
