Pretty weird so I have no idea if it's correct but according to PCS ChinAstana demoted Syritsa to their devo team to get a Chinese rider in...

EDIT: it's actually true. Demanded by the Chinese, and they couldn't demote Kuzmin (cause the Kazachs are also still sponsoring).
What's even the point? He's not gonna generate a lot of press by finishing way down in a few lower-level races. Did the Bahraini guy make any difference for TBV? While Syritsa on the other hand could actually contribute to Astana's fight for WT status. Sure, he can still do races with the main team, but those points would count for the devo team if I understand correctly.

Also what's the deal with Haoyu Su that he's the one chosen to be in the WT team? A quick look at PCS suggests there are better Chinese riders in the team he rode for in 2024.

I wonder if they consulted with Janse van Rensberg? He'd know a bit about all of them. Possibly looking for a domestique instead of a winner?

I never said they offered a WT contract.
Correct, but I never said you did. I just added some info to say what the correct deal and offer was with Donnie as RB did not try get him, they did not have him at all on the list to sign until management of Jarno and Donnie offered Donnie where you had mentioned they also went after him.

Two Colombians join the Picnic.

I had wondered where Londoño would ride next season, but I definitely didn't think she would go to a WWT team when it hadn't been announced sooner.
