Belgian transfers are usually known right after someone signed yeah (or before it). Riders, family, managers don't like to keep their mouth shut. Or just the team they are leaving from cause they obviously don't care about keeping it a secret.
It also helps that there are so many media in Belgium who are interested in breaking the news of a transfer of a Van Moer-tier rider. If you were trying to leak the news of, say, Pascal Eenkhoorn (to take someone with a similar profile), the response of the average Dutch newspaper would be 'who?' and you would stand a better chance with a Belgian newspaper given that he rides for a Belgian team.

Wielerflits would...

I get what you mean but I think Netherlands as an example probably isn't the right one given they have Wielerflits

I like all the team's transfers, in both directions. Seems like they run a tight budget, and I think their most expensive signing this year was the extension of Jorgenson. Now they just need to ditch Van Aert and Blobloblo.

Better age distribution with these transfers, and they have a good classics core for when Van Aert and Laporte retire/decline further.

Why should they get rid of el joven del BORA right when he's finally started to perform again?

Leo Hayter has found a team for his comeback. A bit surprisingly, it's Voster ATS - on from now, for the remainder of the season.

He basically wants to ride Chrono des Nations to show himself, he was looking for a team just to enter the race (he could not enter the race as an individual athlete). Don't know if he will ride another race for the team.
