José Joaquín Rojas, out of contract with Movistar, ponders his future in cycling
"I don't know what I'll do. I've got to think with my pillow this week and see what I can do."

I'm gonna go out a long limb and assume that "I've got to think with my pillow" is some sort of figure of speech that has been directly translated, and makes more sense in Spanish.

Yeah, I assumed their was something squirrelly in the translation, but I quite like “I’ve got to think with my pillow,” which sounds much more active than “I’ll sleep on it.” :)

Jonas Gregaard has signed a 2 year deal with Lotto according to their Twitter.

Great deal for them, he’s been very solid as a domestique for Uno-X and should be a valuable guy to put around a rider like Van Eetvelt.
Lotto are turning into quite a handy team - not bad for a Pro-team. Ewan going back to Oz will hopefully re-focus the team.

It's shaping up to be a nice team built around ADL and LVE. In a few years there will hardly be any terrain in which those won't compete. Add in a couple of guys like Beullens, Vermeersch, Eenkhoorn and Kron and you have a solid WT squad.

And ofcourse, there still is Segaert. And guys like Menten and Vanhoucke are still only 26.

Christ, they might be cyclings equivalent of the Proces (Philly NBA)

Let's just hope that "tanking" for their talented crop of juniors (Widar, Donie, De Schuyteneer & Grisel to name a few) works out better than Ben Simmons did...

I do really like Lotto's raise it down to the ground and build it up approach following some bizarre additions in the past

Sidenote: I read Tanking to the Top by Yaron Weitzman earlier this year, a fascinating look into the process, one in which the 76ers refused to comment, which usually means the book is pretty well informed. Would highly recommend

Visma - Buy a Kid have picked up the next Martin Ødegaard according to Norwegian TV2. I guess there's nothing stopping them from signing Paula Ostiz or my 2 year old niece (I'm sure she'll become a star one day) to their women's team as well.

Who's the old Martin Ødegaard? Well, I suppose it's someone named Martin Ødegaard...

He is a football player , he play for Arsenal FC. I guess we have to presume that he is very highly thought of in Norway
He made his debut at the national team when he was 15 and was bought to Real Madrid when he was 16 for around 7,5m euros.

I guess that’s where the the comparison comes in, a young Norwegian kid being snapped up by the best team in the world at a very young age.
