Double-Points also for CG....

It seems Tiralongo kept his 16th. Hope that´s true. Man it will be tight, but i have a slight hope that i can make it. Also good that Kiryenka won today. So nobody scored extra points. I wish i had Contador tomorrow. If he wins, i think i´ll be out. oh no...

Edit: I just see only one has Contador tomorrow. So i better cheer for him :)

Menchov and Millar (11 vs. 7) for tomorrow, 10 have Pinotti who´s not racing...

I think (hope) both are exhausted and can´t win. Porte, Porte go go go :)

Go for Menchov or Millar.
Millar should be little bit fresher for sure.

Sad it was shortened. Especially sad for Nibali. But he lost his chance for 2nd today, anyway.

14 Jraama (29th)

13 Walkman (30th)

12 More Strides (31st)
12 Nicoper

11 JA.Tri (33rd)

* tie breakers for 16th:
Mortand beat the rest players tied w/18 points on most stages wins (4);
Cobble beat Sylvester and Kazistuta on most predicted Top-20-Riders (12 vs. 11);
Sylvester beat Kazistuta on 2nd-Highest correct predicted Top-20 (w/Scarponi at 2nd vs. Nibali at 3rd);
Jobivan has least stage wins (2) among those tied, thus is last on the tie breakers.

For the first time in my life, I will be cheering for David Millar :D I picked a lot of the eventual stage winners (Rujano, Vicioso, Kiryienka, Anton), but unfortunately for the wrong stages. But still, it ain't over till it's over.

Machado Baby go 2.28 over Tiralongo, that would be great. Then Tiralongo on spot (20th) would finally safe me for good.

And of course it would be great if Nibali tops Scarponi by at least 57 seconds. Do it !!!

Worst Case:
2. Scarponi
3. Nibali
4. Menchov
5. Gadret
6. JRod
7. Kreuziger
8. Rujano
...
19. Tiralongo
20. Machado

... if Menchov or Millar (please not) wins i´ll be dead 17th (i´d need Tiralongo for sure to finish exactly on 20th). OMG !!!

This standings would lift at least Dlwssonic, Jobivan and Michiel into the Top-16 (no guarantees here, just a fast calculation)

I am safe with either a Contador, Machado, Nibali (or any other) win...

Contador, Contador :)

P.S.: It seems all w/at least 20 points are safe and can plan for the TdF, except Hitch; if some unlucky shifts between 4th and 9th happen + Menchov is not winning the ITT, he might be out.

Woohoo!

And that's all I'll woohoo! for (for now). Unless, of course, a severe tailwind blows Menchov up to second place in GC, which doesn't seem all that likely (now, there's an understatement).

Funny thing is, though, that I've probably been too conservative with my GC picks and too adventurous with my stage picks. It's difficult to find the ideal balance, I suppose.

Oh well, this is close. My fingers are crossed :)

I keep my fingers crossed too. I just reminded myself of the 20 bonus seconds for the winner. OMG, hope Gadret don´t loose more than 2,43. It will be very very close. And AC said he´ll go "easy". Thank you very much. :mad:

Let it rain in the end, so that some "nobody" wins :)

My perfect coaching game plan for tomorrow: :p

Machado gains at least 2.28 over Tiralongo, putting the italian at 20th (Final-CG);
Gadret looses max. 2.42 to Menchov, who finishes 2nd and thus perfectly moves up to 5th in the Final-CG;
Nibali gains at least 57 seconds over Scarponi to move smoothly into 2nd on the Final-CG;
Porte wins the ITT, of course :) ;
Lövkvist does not gain more than 4.26 over Tiralongo to finish a perfect 21st-CG and thus out of bounds ;);
Millar finishes 3rd

That´s all i ask for. It´s not that much :rolleyes:

I really hope i make it through to next round here. (we start Tour with clean slate right?)

I made some very stupid mistakes that cost me easy points though thankfully a bit of luck got me those points back.

Ive learned from them though now, I think, and think i can put in a better team for the TOur. If i get the chance. Hopefully.

Come on Millar FTW!

And Menchov to move up to 3rd and Nibbles to 2nd on GC :p

I could live with that too :)

P.S.: For now Sylvester makes the jump into Top-16. Millars time seems very good....
