How do those rules work here. When do you consider the results to be "final", in case something like that were to happen.

Let me quote post #2 for such cases. I hope everything is clear. Actually not to me. So lets hope no such things will happen...

f.) About results:
Official Stage results for the Race-Day count. Disqualifications after will not influence or change the results.
Example:
I.) Cav wins sprint stage, gets disqualified by the UCI because of an unfair sprint, 2nd-Place-Finisher like Farrar is announced as winner = Farrar counts as Stage-Winner in this Game.
II.) DiLuca wins Mountain-Stage, gets disqualified 3 Months later by whatever reasons; DiLuca is still counted as Stage-Winner in this Game
III.) Barredo wins the last stage and the TdF-Overall, gets disqualified 2 days after and results are changed immediately by UCI = Barredo does not count as winner in this Game.
IV.) Petacchi wins 2nd stage, gets disqualified by the UCI after Stage 17 and his results from stage 2 are removed officially while the TdF is still running = Petacchi is not counted as the winner of stage 2.

I think it doesn´t matter for you if Greipel wins if Sagan makes T-3.
So we could agree something like this:
1. Greipel
2. Sagan
3. Cavendish

But no guarantees here.

Foxxy according to the rules you are still in arent you?

I am incredibly relieved after having predicted EBH for this stage and knowing he had not a chance whilst others had Cav, Greipel etc I was in a tenuous position but luckily it seemed I squeezed through.

Yes... but i can´t go for the overall win, unless one qualified player doesn´t send the Vuelta-Picks in time.

Congrats to Dekker, impressive score.

I think picking both stage winners and top 20 were incredibly hard. There's so much potential candidates...

Dekker_Tifosi said:
I'll probably fudge up the Vuelta anyway since it isn't as predictable as this years TDF. But it's still nice to have some sort of record :p

That on the other hand, is absolutely pathetic, I think we can all agree on that.

Oh and big thumbs up to Foxxy again. By far the best prono game around. Sad to see you miss the cut buddy...

The top 10 was easy. The top 20 (11-20 was incredibly hard).
The stage-winners are easy, in what order you are gonna pick Cavendish/Sagan/Greipel is hard.

Hope this explains it ;)
But anyway, I don't have to have your acceptance you are always hating anyway

Cav please.

That´s beyond me. You had Greipel today (like me). Anyway, it worked. ;) ... And you still made the cut.

Eshnar said:
Wow, 2nd!
I'm awesome ;)
And with a good bunch of combined points

Congrats, 2nd best overall score. Indeed impressive... About the awesomeness we´ll see at the Vuelta ;). I´ll be back stronger than ever. :D

Yop, the record will stay forever. I don´t see it broken, since max. 3 stages per rider are allowed.

Made it, Ma. Top of the world.

Well, almost.

All your T-20 riders (except Leipheimer) that reached Paris scored. If no crashes there might be a record at the Vuelta in sight. Something like 18 of 20. Anyway, i didn´t expect less from an experienced guy.

DominicDecoco said:
Well done yet again, Foxxy. Sorry I haven't been more active in here but I pretty much gave up on it after stage 2 or something like that. Not fair considering the work you've done.

I know that. I had that feeling today... Anyway, thanks & welcome back next year.

Thanks a lot. My mistake was, i didn´t left the emotion out of my picks. I shouldn´t have refused to pick an ex trackie as number one. Well, at least i wasn´t going for national riders. And my Gilbert pick was absolute nonsense. I was tired and just picked him. What a waste. I might as well could have picked DeKort or Timmer... That´s the important points i left on the table.

search said:
yeah, definitely, thanks

I just noticed Vorganov finished inside the Top 20 - I must say, I have no idea how he managed to do so. It's not like the russians champion jersey was omnipresent during this race

He did finish T-20 once in the Vuelta. But it´s impossible to foresee T-20 finishes like that. De Greef or De Weert are easier: They also hide and somehow finish T-20, but more often than Vorganov.

$hit. I was sooo much pi$$ed about my failure, that i forgot to celebrate my 2.000th post. I hereby do it retroactively. :)
Last year´s No. 1.000 was a happier moment. That´s for sure.
