Same here! Very relieved to be through, I thought I was a gonner a few days ago.

Btw, did you know you was qualified already yesterday. When I made the scenarios, I was surprised you did since only being a half point away from relegation.

With just 3 stage points, my top-20 really saved my classification.

But i was expecting this result from a lackluster preparation and detail given to the stage profiles.

Thanks Foxxy for being a very good host.

Yes Foxxy but I didn't want to say anything as knowing my luck someone in the T20 would have crashed out and I'd have lost their point. I was very relieved to see Vino had also tipped Mezgec with me today, although in the end it didn't matter.

Yes Mezgec would have saved you any way, but Vino had a chance to drop Vlad. Too bad for him the sprinter teams wasted two stages of the less sprinter stages that there is.
I am always cheering for the break in a flat stage (which fails 99% of time), but please not on stage 21. Didn´t the riders know they spoil the last-second-thrill of this game? ;)

Thank you too. At least I could dream of beautiful stage 21 scenarios (like that possible 5-way tie at the top of Division Coppi). I am sure at the TdF they will deliver... :)

Well all good things come to an end (and mediocre performances as well)
I might have been eliminated but a) I had fun and B) I am actually fairly happy with my picks even if they didn't work out

Going back through them I think I had 9 or 10 of my GC picks in there, just no luck on the spot places. And as for my stage picks well it was only 2 wildcard riders (TJALLINGII and HAUSSLER) who didn't get a top 3 position. Every other rider I picked finished in the top 3 at some stage, just very few of them on the stage I picked

Once more, thanks Foxy, it has been fun

Thanks Tigerion :)

Actually your GC picks were pretty decent (you had 10, which is the median for all players). About spots, you had one (Contador ofc). Sounds little, but if we consider the average is 1.6 for all players, that "un-luck" (is that word existing in English?) only cost you about 0.5 points.
The real problem was the stage picks. As it was with cycleladian in last years TdF (she also was always pretty decent in CG picks AFAIR). You both improve in the stage picking next time and will be right up there with the big boys in contention. ;)
You are very much welcome for next year ofc.

Front Page is updated!
All players that are in the pool for the TdF division draw are stated first (alphabetical). Those who are set in the divisions (automatically the division winners and runner-ups, as usual) are stated 2nd. The inherited points are also out (see there, in parentheses behind the player names).

The division draw will take place live at 14.30 "cycnews-time" today (in about 12 hours from now), Monday, June 1st (It is CET I guess. I never really get it. All the different time zones still confuse me, even after all those years when I should have get used to them).
The thoughest ones certainly will be Hugo with 14.5 inherited points, ILovecycling (13.5), and Jspear (also 13.5). Those three inherited more points than some of the players that are set.
Personally I´d like another bout with Ilovecycling (and G2F any way) in my division. :D

There's not much to get about CET. We both are on CET. Central European Time Foxxy :p You know, Germany, Italy, France and all the countries with the same time zone.
CN time is actually GMT. The pure Greenwich time zone (without daylight saving hour). That is 2 hours late wrt CET

Thanks for updating, unfortunately I won't be here on draws as I have a exams, so I will miss it arghh. As for me I would prefer a battle in Group D, as all those Sceptic wins are a bit boring :p , he needs a challenge :D .My personal goal is to win at least once a DC, because I dont think I can make it to the top in Vuelta, so Im eager to see what group I'll have for Tour today evening.

My aim is to make the final cut in the Vuelta. So basically a Top-10. Hard enough...

Im glad you postpone it! But dont postpone the postponed on wednesday, I have another exam there :D (...Nadal vs Djokovic match in that time ***)

Wow, I have been away for some days, and to my surprise I see that I managed to survive another Grand Tour! With no correct riders in the last three stages I was sure I was eliminated, but Aru's comeback into 2nd overall saved me :) Thanks to Foxxy for great updates, and see you all in July :D
