Race Radio said:Livestrong has not given money to research for years, they are all about "Awareness"
Nike Awareness, Oakley Awareness, Trek Awareness.
Do you have a link to footage of this incident? I would like to see it for myself.Moose McKnuckles said:The far end of what spectrum? Is Lance under investigation for fraud? Yes. Is there strong evidence he doped? Yes. Did he chase down Simeoni in one of the most disgusting displays of Omerta ever witnessed on live television? Yes.
Just because you can't accept reality doesn't make it any less real.

Do you notice that the ASO presents awards in Order of Importance?
Stage Winner
Green Jersey
Poka Dot Jersey
White Jersey
Yellow Jersey
GC Podium
Team Classification.
I don't think there's footage, as it happened early in a stage and maybe French TV wasn't broadcasting it yet. At least there doesn't seem to be anything on YouTube.ulrikmm said:Do you have a link to footage of this incident? I would like to see it for myself.

Polish said:Are you saying this race has NOT been about Lance?
Lance attracted the biggest crowds and biggest applause.
Signed the most autographs.
Floyd talked about Lance. LeMond talked about Lance.
The forum(s) obsessed over Lance, haters and fanboys and mods alike.
Lance will not start. Lance will not finish.
WSJ. USA Today. L'Equipe. Nightline TV.
This race HAS been about Lance lol.
Of course, the race will be remembered for Alberto attacking Andy in Yellow when "The Mechanical" happened.
And "The Tiff" and 'The Make-Up".
Hugs, Winks, and Strokes on the Cheeks.

Thanks! Although my stomach turns from watching that.twothirds said:
chambers said:Race Radio, your post is very interesting! IF you have proof of this claim contact the guy who is investigating the claims Floyd Landis made about Armstrong. He will want to know about this fraud. The US tax forms that Livestrong posted on their website show grants given to research in 2009. Based on your post they must have cheated on their taxes.
RedheadDane said:Gotta say one thing though; seeing an (almost) entire team sitting in the road-side doing needlework is probably not something we'll see again anytime soon...
Maybe the real reason Armstrong didn't join the handywork club is because he doesn't know how to...
tiger 10 said:I really like the final stage. It's always the same. Riders muck around for the cameras, lots of shots of the winners, champagne, everybody looking pretty happy, chatting away: a convivial and friendly atmosphere. Followed by a huge sprint for the finish. It's also when the cameras pan through the peloton and seemingly tries to give everybody a bit of face time for TV. We're not just shown GC riders and those high up in the classifications, or even just the riders who are allowed to get into breakaways, but everybody else. The ones who don't get a lot of time on TV but rode just as far and probably did a fair few k's of it with several drinks on board for someone more important in the team pecking order than them. They deserve their spot in the sun on the last day.
Armstrong's surliness not only put a bit of a sour note on proceedings and was disrespectful to the winners and the race organisers, but also robbed time away from all those other riders who finished who we don't get to see much. Instead of more face time with them waving at the cameras and saying hello, we get pictures of LA arguing, LA looking mad, LA holding up proceedings while forcing everybody else to wait, LA changing, LA having his number fixed, LA, LA, L bloody A ... I am sick of him.
Roll on the post-Lance era. Hooray.

Contador didn't "steal" the Tour from Schleck. You can ask "what if?", or say Schleck was stronger in the mountains, and I would agree. But to claim Contador stole the Tour from Andy is absurd.

Your posts toward anyone who disagrees with your all consuming hatred of LA are rude, arrogant, and often beyond what is stated as the rules of this forum. I was surprised they were not removed until I discovered that "Alpe d'Huez" is one of the moderators. You also appear to believe that most of the people who object to your ranting are all the same person. You continually accused me of being BPC when I posted a few months ago. I don't visit this forum often as I do not enjoy spending time in the sewer, but when I occasionally visit and take issue with some of the haters, I can assure you and the rest of them that I have nothing to do with anyone else. If you are reasonably computer literate you can discover I am posting from France, where I have spent the summer on my bike.
