It's even 9.9% average, with a max of 20%. You damn right it's Pappy's territory;)

Apparently, he is still suffering a bit from bronchitis, so I doubt whether he will a protagonist. Danielson and Kelderman are the biggest favorites for me.

I hope Moreno Hofland is in a decent shape, this being his first race after his crash. He doesn't really have any competition for the sprints, so he could/should win a bunch of stages.

Good news.

Its live of the Fox Sports Networks. from 4 to 6 Eastern (2-4 Mountain)

Bad news is that I will miss it, and there is not a repeat that I can find.

It really is time I got a DVR

Based on the profile he might be right.

I think he IS right. What other weeklong stage race boasts this much climbing?

Of course, as a Utah native, I'm admittedly biased.

Robin Carpenter won the points sprint....My guess is the break will be swallowed up on this first climb.

The unnecessary US bashing when they organize a stage race is as annoying as the way US races are talking themselves up.

I will wait for the TV coverage but looking forward to seeing how Phil Gaimon gets on this week.

Gavin Mannion riding for Garmin too.
