Anacona riding himself for a Vuelta lieutenant place. Great work. If only Lampre could be like this the rest of the year.

Chris Horner looks like he's digging deeper now than he had to for the entire Vuelta last year...

Can Wilco bridge on the descent? Gotta figure he's certainly a better bet than Horner and Danielson in a sprint. Not sure about Winner's sprinting abilities.

No? Kelderman really has not ridden much in between Tour and Vuelta. Only Dauphine and Utah. And a long training block.

He hasn't ridden overly much in pre-season either. So they are doing it with sense. Besides Kelderman himself wanted this really much

If Evans is within 45 seconds or so I guess he could close it on the descent, as far as I know no one in the front are great descenders (or maybe Anacona?).

It's a short and fast downhill. Just because Danielson descended like a grandma last year doesn't mean that a lot of time can be gained

But ok, group 2 is pretty close anyway
