if these guys can't find a random s*itposter on a forum, how are they going to uncover any sort of organised nefarious activity that may or may not be going on in cycling at the moment.

who are "these guys"? and how has an anonymous guy on a marginal forum any relation to finding nefarious activity? and who should find both Mou and nefarious activity?

Few articles on Cyclingnews/Escape Collective/various sites been written about this guy, loads of sh*tters on twitter been trying to dox him the past week, few people tried message me out of the blue there after that tratnikstan guy posted my name on some weird deep-dive twitter thread.

I wasn't trying to say he'd done anything dodgy, my point isn't really about Mou. I was making a wider remark that if they can't do something small like find out who this guy then how could they hope to uncover anything bigger that is going on at the moment that may explain the random 10% annual performance jump. Cycling has a difficult past that requires people with strong investigative skills, but they all seem to have left the building.

ah ok. well, there have been investigations, latest were Aderlass with actual doping found and athletes busted, and also Ukad and British Cycling had been investigated for ten years by committees, tribunals, parliaments, and in this case they weren't able to name one single rider. people do investigate, it depends if there are things to find or not, or, like in cycling case, the sport walks the tiny thin sharp line of legal/illegal and somehow keeps the equilibrium
