The UNofficial ACF94-reaches-10K-posts thread

I thought it wise to also add an unofficial thread, because the official one does not quite emphasize the importance of the event. :D

We are talking 10000 posts here; most of them concerning Cadel and his epic BMC buddies. That is an enormous achievement. These are historic proportions. I myself would not be able to do this without repeating myself over and over again (something which ACF never does! :)). Major props.

Thank you ACF for being part of the furniture here.

I'll have you know the check hasn't arrived yet..... the countdown is running.....

Susan

PS: Congratulations!

Just for the record - the cheque is NOT a bribe, it's meant to help in the fight against spam on the forum.

If anybody has any queries a censored copy of the cheque and a handwritten note about what it's spent on can viewed at proper distance at the secret headquarter. Unfortunately we're not at liberty to reveal the location...

ACF: Keep Posting Strong!

i replied in the original thread...

As a thought - who's the top 20 by post count?
(or should I say positions 2-20? ;) )

Ya, I've been wondering that too. This forum doesn' tseem to have a member list that you can sort based on number of posts that a lot of other forums has.

I guess I'll offer my congrats here at the unofficial thread, as I doubt I've contributed much to his enjoyment, what with me supporting what he'd call a Spanish @#$%&.

It's a shame he announced it himself, though, as it totally messed up the surprise party. :D Cheers

Cadel Evans race wins are always very very good. Always hard fought against formidable bike riders, no luck involved or hoping people sit up or anything so ACF is right to follow the guy.

Simon Gerrans is better though.
:p

Wow that is a large number...10k! I almost always find your posts interesting. ;)

Also, I have a confession to make...I used to be irked by Cadel and not like him so much..but watching him win his worlds and seeing the style he brought to that win...then apres that watching him rise to the occasion and honor the jersey whenever he rode...Well, my opinion has changed. I like his style..he rides his heart out.

Good luck and to the next goal for you and your rider!:)

Damn it, ACF really owns Cadel now... Now that's a major accomplishment. It used to be the other way around.

I Would have been there had i not taken a self imposed mini holiday for a while and come back as a new user. Think dim had about 4000 posts ish, i would have been on about 8000.

My post per day average is only around 10 though, ACF hits a whopping 15 posts a day (i doubt anyone comes close to that to be honest), although thats mainly because if and when cadel wins he posts about 500 times in the race thread, whilst I only post once or twice when sky riders win.

This is ACf's thread. Must you embarrass me?

My post count for June - September was about 100 a day.

For example the world cup thread on which i participated on for less than a month, according to the user cp i have 400 posts on that alone. Thats not even counting every Tour and vuelta stage and the discussions around them.

Since then its been far closer to normality, Im just paying the price for those 4 months.

I could get a 6 month ban and come back still on top.

please move this thread to general. as usual it is misleading and out of context

a topic about a forum poster started by the same poster is not worthy of "professional cycling"
\
interesting that ozpsychofan69 and cadel are a lot alike

We can expect the following reactions:

"don't step on my dog I'll cut your heads off"

or 'Stop it, get away from me" slap slap

“I don’t deserve this. I do everything right in the fing sport and I don’t deserve this shi...,” waaaaaaa

“After 14 years of giving up everything in my life for cycling, about 392,000km of training and racing, flying some 35 times around the planet (not including overland flights) to get to where I am in the sport today, anyone who knows my dedication and work ethic (not many), also understands that I would not give up on GC without good reason. Now, it also puts me in vulnerable position to be criticized and blamed.
Rough translation(after giving up 5 years of my life and nearly 10,000 posts to get where I am today anyone who knows my dedication and work ethic (not many), also understands that I would not give up on posting without good reason. Now, it also puts me in vulnerable position to be criticized and blamed.)

That's my 10,000th post. Now I am on the hunt to find a new hobby as I have became a die hard cycling fan with no life other than posting on an internet forum. I have too much spare time. Any suggestions?:D

Why, yes I do.

I merged the 'unofficial' ACF10000 thread into this one as they are essentially the same thing.
