Over the last few months, I've really seen the power that the fans hold. One clear example - Over $135,000 raised for LIVESTRONG and World Bicycle Relief thanks to people spreading The Fat Cyclist's message.

And none of this will actually go to fighting cancer but to uniballer himself. It is a shame.

Color me confused. I thought he and JB said he was lighter than at this time last year??? In all seriousness, if he says 3 kgs, then it is probably closer to 5. At least we can now dispense with this notion that he was wearing something under his kit.

it's an old tired damage control technique where the roles of players are sequenced. yesterday, bruyneel issued a press release that he does not expect la to match berto at the ci. today we heard the second note of the same tired song.

what every one should pay attention to, is that jb found contador's change of racing plan curious/interesting...is he admitting they got outfoxed in their own mental games ? i think so.

This confuses me a little. Asked on TF2 last July on the podium of the TdF what he thought of the return of Armstrong to the Tour Sarko paused, took a deep breath and said slowly "Cycling has a serious doping problem ...." (In French obviously).

Is there a photo of NS with the bike? Not riding it, the saddle is too high and it has no stabilisers.

Tom Cruise has recently visited NS too, and Scientology is banned in France.

I wonder how much Drucker was paid to facilitate this photo-opportunity?

IMO,the sudden change of Contadors schedule has caught Lance& Jb off guard.I think they know beforehand where Contador will race because they are trying to avoid him as much as possible until the TDF.Racing against him(AC) at this early will expose LA's present form.I hope no more alibi will emerge from LA aside from Gastrointiritis come racing time!

astana will be much stronger at the tour. again and again, people failed to mention max iglinsky who demonstrates both stamina and good climbing legs. people overlook martinelli’s shrewd use of other teams and alliances. vino’s thirst for individual stage wins and his escapes will only strengthen this tactic. it’s not unfounded to question astana’s strength. but it is ridiculous to look at the obviously dynamic inspired well lead team as an amorphous body.

And these are just American sporting streaks, not from sportsmen in other countries. These also do not include sporting streaks from team sports, which one could argue is professional cycling. Lastly, US Postal/Discovery never controlled the peloton from start to finish. They were smart and allowed other teams to take the lead and control the peloton. Lance always said he didn't want to expose his team to defending the maillot jaune from start to finish.

That was the whole point of this commentary--the ability to control the race/defend. Perhaps you should take a break from polishing Lance's knob and read a little more clearly before parachuting in with an inane comment.
