I guess you are estimating he will win less this year than even I am? And I am a so called lance hater ***...probably too much time spent on the blood sacrifices probably...good luck to your MAN tho...

I'm actually not certain Lance will win anything this year. He's working hard and doing the right things and claims to be stronger than he was last year, but you never know when the age thing is really going to kick in and his body tell him it's over.

I've seen Baseball players try to stay too long, suddenly they can't hit or being crafty as a pitcher is no longer enough. No amount of will, strengh or effort make up for that in the end. We are all getting old, we are all going to die.

I'm a little disappointed they didn't do somewhat better in the TdUnder. My opinion is that it was because the race for several reasons was faster and more agressive than it ever has been and they decided it was way to early to be engaging in risks, no more broken collarbones. It's no accident that last year was his first injury. He and Johan have their idea of when discression is the better part of valor.

But, who knows? I figure Lance does. The road will sort things out.

The road sorted things out last year, but that certainly didn't stop Lance from whining like a b!tch for the rest of the year. That's perhaps the main source of increased disdain for Lance and his entourage of dingleberries.

If Armstrong had taken his lumps with dignity and dedicated himself to a Contador victory after it became clear who the team leader really was, we'd see a different response from people.

T.D.F.: I don't think he will win a single stage...I am guessing either a DNF or 6-11th...

summation: one stage of TOC...possible one more stage in something else except T.D.F.

I agree with your overall predictions.

At the link below we can see a taste of LA's inminent DNF at the Tour de France 2010: LA was a DNF at a mountain bike race today, giving excuses of dehydration because he kept droping his water bottles due to the rocky terrain. Yeah, right. Total BS! .

And you have the nerve to accuse ME of being a troll.

I'll say it again.. you have a problem.. take it to a mod.

I feel bad for people reading this but I will not let a single post like this from him or anybody else go unanswered.

We covered all this at the last meeting. You can't answer everything. You can't even read half the comebacks on a good day. The point is to drive 'em nuts with endless grenades.

This wisdom could have been imparted for the mere cost of some juice pouches and goldfish. You wouldn't even have had to help me stack the chairs and make sure the room was put back the same way.

Lance didn't make any excuses and he and the team clearly rode for Alberto.

The fact that he did well clearly galls you and you refuse to give credit where credit is due.

Respect is due anyone on the podium in a Grand Tour even if it's grudging.

Yup, they were riding for him when Lance and Kloden pulled the chase group until they popped on Verbeir.

I can't respect you when you make absurd, idiotic comments.

Yup, and they (LA, Leipheimer et al) harshly criticized Contador after stage 17 (Le Grand Bornand). No doubt they rode and respected Contador as their leader.

CC, how much is LA paying you to be his troller ?:D

They were also riding for him when only Kloden helped pace Contador back up after his flat (cannot remember the stage). He clearly had the team's full support as opposed to Leipheimer, who was left to fend for himself on the stage to Arcalis. Those four guys who paced him back up were not even on Astana!

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

:):mad: I just do not understand why you are so hard on Lance, is it because he is not another Poulidor? Or another Cadel? Or G. Hincapie or Levi or Dave Z. or Tyler or Flandis?

I know Lance is one crazy mo-fo and I love that he survived cancer and came back stronger than ever.

All the winghing fans who criticize Lance or Lance fans, look who he beat in the tour 09. At 38 you try getting into racing again.

A few can pull it off but only a few.

PS: I also love baby Schleck and Contador the two best stage racers at this time.

Hey just to let you know I let son of Flicker know that using illegal substances is a no-no. Aus cycle i respect Cadel I think he deserved some GT and classic wins when others ahead of him were enhanced. I am against the enancements unless the UCI wants to go above board and create the top fueler category.

Top fueler is the unlimited class in drag racing. I believe you can burn anything in those races.

Obviously in cycling cooking on EPO, blood d. HGH Steroids. is top-fuel racing.

Won't ever going to get rid of it so I am not going to be a cry-baby about it.

That's not what happened. No matter how many times you say it, it's not going to make it true. It's on video, you can watch it. It's public.

When Alberto attacked past Kloden and Lance, which was a perfectly timed move taking advantage of a downwind leg of the switchback, Lance did not accelerate. When Andy Schleck went around him right before the turn Lance got his wheel, which is exactly what he's supposed to do. Later when Evans and Wiggins go to the front of the group Lance and Levi rode 3rd and 4th, again, exactly what they should do as Wiggins was a full minute ahead of Andy Schleck in GC. At no time did Lance, Kloden or Levi ride at the front of the chase group. In the end Lance and Levi and Kloden finished behind Evans, Wiggins and both Schlecks.

Riding at the front is chasing, riding rear wheels is dragging.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2cN4B3XspYg&feature=related

I've watched that climb several times. Alberto timed it perfect, caught the wind, then got some help from the frickin motorcycle (good on him) and rode off.

The fact that he only got 20 seconds from it owes to it being so near the top when he went.
