I know at this time last year his arms likely added to his weight. But what I am talking about is, have you ever ridden next to someone and had a rough idea of their weight? Not right down to the kg or lb, but an approximation? In other words, you can likely tell if someone is in the mid-150 lb range compared to the mid-160 lb range.

I've seen a fair number of pros close up and there is a pretty clear difference between those who are 135-45 (e.g. Contra, Horner), ~150-155 (Evans), someone like Pharm (160's), and a sprinter who might be 170-180.

Fair point. Now we just need that person who's seen him in person, although I think he's got a few teammates who haven't even done that yet.

what's with all this photograph stuff? hasn't anyone weighed the sunuvab1tch.... what the hell are we talking about, the secret recipe for coca cola? who the eff knows? I've seen less detailed photos in Hustler.

It's like we're examining effing photos of sasquatch or something. Those who think he is a liar and a fraud STILL think he is a liar and fraud, and those that don't, don't.

I am still leaning towards him bailing out of the tdf late in the spring under some pretense or another.

Lastly, He needs to stop eating so many carrots, they've turned him orange.

None of which tests would ever hold up in court. Pretty much all the GC contenders around him in his era got busted. Get over tests sponsored by a French newspaper that always had a hard on for him and put it to bed.

He's passing all the same tests everyone gets.

Which GC riders "around him" got busted??

Zulle - just like Lance - never failed a doping test.
Virenque - just like Lance - never failed a doping test.
Pantani - just like Lance- never failed a doping test.
Ullrich - just like Lance - never failed a test. (He took some E in a niteclub- hardly performance enhancing)
Basso - just like Lance - never failed a doping test.
Sevilla - just like Lance - never failed a doping test.
Mancebo - just like Lance - never failed a doping test.
Rasmussen - just like Lance - never failed a test.

Valverde - just like Lance - never failed a a test.

Then we have other GC riders like Rumsas, Heras, Hamilton, Vinokourov, Gonzalez, Landis, Mayo who all passed the same tests Lance did!

They got busted in races where Lance was not riding - perhaps they had to juice up because they felt it would be harder to win races when LA wasn't around.

Looking up?

And when Lance was done, he had the nerve to give me an "Angry Dragon" haha.
You guys are really funny hahaha.

But seriously, the Lance Weight debate is very important.
Really important. Lets get back on topic please.

Yes, they did, didn't they? Pretty idiotic to believe that the guy who beat all of those dopers 7 years in a row, often by many minutes, was the only clean one of the bunch :)

Yes, but he trained very hard, weighed his food, was determined, good strategy, high cadence, bribed people, intimidated, sued, spit on them, beat haters, drank 10 gallons of OJ, American icon, cancer, livestrong, blah, blah blah. Pharmstrong!

P.S. I don't care if the guy gets down to 65kg and spins at 120 rpm's there's no way in hell he's getting on the podium this year. He probably will be in hiding after Floyd writes his tell all.

If I had to take a pick,I'd say he was thinner in the upper body this year, but it's hard to judge. You've go a point on his face though, even if he's 4 kg muscle lighter, he must be carrying some of that in extra body fat. So I agree it's hard to believe those weight claims.

He has his jaw clenched (mouth closed) in the pictures from last year. He has his mouth open in the pictures from this year.

That might account for "facial definition". Clenching your teeth together does make the muscles in your jaw and cheeks stand out. Go to a mirror and test it yourself.

More lies by the dangerous nut. Going to start PMing me again with threats??

The newspaper just found the facts. It had nothing to do with the tests. Sorry if you cannot accept the truth, but it is not surprising. Crazy people often have trouble accepting reality.

Gathered information in an unethical way. Actually, they lied to get information.

Who paid the labs for the testing?

The reporter asked Armstrong to allow the UCI to release his doping forms. Armstrong agreed. The reporter is under no obligation to reveal all the possible uses for the information. Even if the reporter had lied, so what? Armstrong lied about not using drugs.

Maybe you should find these things out before you spout off and prove once again that you don't know what you are talking about. Eh, Jack??

Here you go. Tour de France, team presentation, mouth slightly open:

Still see the facial definition with his mouth open. Armstrong was in phenomenal shape at last year's TdF. I would argue better shape than he is today (or was at the TDU when he and Bruyneel were making such hay about his weight loss).

Is it just me, or do the sleeves on their jerseys have different patterns and cuts?

Lance's jersey is different. I looked back at the earlier photo I posted and AC and Kloden have the same jersey. Not sure what that's about (he does have his world champion stripes on his sleeves), but it's neither here nor there.

It's the ex-world champion thing.

I'm suprised it was as different as it was over the shoulders, but anyone who was once a WC has that on their sleeves... right?

Here's Bettini at quickstep with his:

That but the top half of his jersey (the white and the blue and yellow stripes) are different than AC and Kloden. Like I said, it's irrelevant (I know I didn't notice until Immaculate just pointed it out).

I think that's right regarding the World Champion Stripes (he has them on the collar as well).

All the team clothes are custom cut to the riders preference. Many riders like loose sleeves during the Tour as it provided more circulation in the heat. In the past many riders would cut off the end of their sleeves so they would not be tight but now most of the teams get custom jerseys for the Tour.

It's actual more than a custom fit issue. The color scheme is different around the chest and shoulder areas, as compared to AC's and Kloden's jersey. Not sure what that is about, but it is what it is.
