Yes - I said he Patrick has done more for 'Cancer Awareness' than LA has in the last 2 years.

Patrick gave an account of his battle with cancer - reading his story reminds us to be quick in seeking treatment, seek the bbest advice, and be physically ready for the challanges ahead. And also reminds us of the financial implications associated in his personal fight with the disease.

Can you show me LA has said anything on how to tackle this disease from his adventures in the peloton over the last 18 months?

I don't want him banned. I just thought it was an amazing thing to say.

There are lots of things you can criticise Armstrong for if you want to, but lets keep some some sense of sanity in the process.

This is beyond a joke. You're so easy to spot it's not even funny. Reported and on your way to my ignore list.

People, don't forget to report the parasite when you spot him.

There's just no way this needs to be said, but I'll say it anyway (given who you are and your questionable powers of perception and comprehension:

He was talking about you.

Sorry but this is an absolutely dreadful line of argument. Armstrong's story has been recounted all over the world over the last few years precisely because of his come back. He has raised millions to spread the word about these very issues. What your saying is absurd.

If you have a problem with the precise way his charity is funded then by all means say that, but you're not doing that case any good by pretending a post on a forum has done more for cancer awareness than Armstrong over the last two years.

Right before you joined, there was this absolute raving idiot on here who made some claim that Armstrong raised something like $200 million last year alone for the LAF. That moron couldn't provide one iota of proof supporting his claim. Fat guy in an Once jersey, tried to suggest he know something about racing.

As a new member, maybe you can bring a fresh perspective and some much-needed clarity to that guy's blithering stupidity? Trust me, he was about as dumb as dirt. You'd be shocked at the ridiculousness of some of the crap he was spouting.

Help us out?

That is my ignore list. How many of them are this mentally ill a$$wipe? I lost count of who he was, but I am guessing that 90% are him.

Thanks for the recount as I've not kept up. You could probably create an activity chart for the rise and decline of posts from each incarnation but that, too; would be a waste of electrons.

That's nonsensical. He obviously doesn't have to go through his entire cancer story in every interview - that's repeated for him in every place he goes. But I'm sure he has talked about it at the many events he has done.

I repeat again. To say that Armstong's charity events, his work with governments, and the millions he has raised that will go directly to the cause of raising cancer awareness, is less than a post tucked away on a forum, is just crazy.

Susan or Alpe can you please get rid of this guy before we go down this road again.
I don't have the power to ban people. Though I can delete posts and threads...

That is a lot of people to have on an ignore list.

I tend to debate people I disagree with. Isn't that what a forum is for?

Everyone is different I suppose.

Good point very much unlike that prodigy idiot who's banned now. What a jerk he was, wouldn't you agree?

By the way welcome to the forum, hope you will help contribute with relevant posts, contrary to what Prodigy did.

Some would say that your posts dosen't differ from Prodigy's, but when you postulate, that you are someone else you are not lying are you? :D:D:D

Too bad you have to spend time on cleaning up the mess of that sad excuse for a human being instead of just enjoying reading about cycling. Thanks again for spending your free time on keeping this forum at least somewhat clean.

Anywhere Lance went to raise 'Cancer Awareness' he picked up a personal fee.

But his profile this year has raised lots of money for his charity, LAF. The fact that he has said he dedicated the comeback to cancer awareness itself raises the profile of his story. The countless events with governments has promoted this cause.

If you have a problem with him taking an appearance fee then you should make that point. Not claim his activities over the last few years has done less for cancer than a post on a forum.

But - I will ask you again...Can you show me anything LA has said on how to tackle this disease from his adventures in the peloton over the last 18 months?

This is beyond silly. He obviously can't do anything for cancer whilst racing in the peloton.

I'm sure you have some points to make against Armstrong, but that statement you made is just false. Just stick to the other issues. Over playing your case is counterproductive to the rest of what you have to say.

Doesn't seem he's that bothered about beating cancer then does it, surely he should stop cycling cos he isn't very good at it and go 100% in the effort to beating cancer.

You're making me agree with people I generally disagree with on how they talk to posters, but they're right, you just need to go away. This constant returning is obsessive and unhealthy, do something else, please :(:(

Nice long post.... which again didn't answer my question.

His return raises his profile and his bank account.

Do you not think it is telling that in the 18 months since he announced his comeback for 'Cancer Awareness' that you are unable to show a statement or a link to something practical that he has done?

Again - Patricks honest story, for no reward - is a better example of inspiration and practical help than LA has done since his return.

I'd just like to say that this has been the most interesting, informative and least unnecessarily confrontational series of posts I've read about LA.

Thanks for all your hard work. I have to say it's hard work trying to follow it all as well, or maybe that's just me.

Proof that it's my fault. I'll never make the same mistake again. Sorry.

The non-ideal solution is to ban him as soon as he reappears, not wait until the situation becomes intolerable. Give the non-employee moderators ban privileges with a directive that it should only be used to get rid of this turd from Ohio.

The proper solution is to have the admin deal with it. The sys admin here is either incompetent or too busy to deal with the problem. The situation does not require an innovative solution. Every forum of note has to deal with kooks like this.

You forgot Bristol Pro Cycling, Arbiter, Great White, Prodigy, Carboncrank. I am not sure if Jackhammer and BPC are the same guy, although is is no surprise that as soon as one gets bane the other turns up.

Regardless that is 1-2 people with close to 20 usernames between them and countless discussions derailed. Somebody needs some medication or a hug from his mommy.
