The photo of Pharmstrong is a bit deceptive, as he is pretty bloated in it (and we know some of the things that make us bloated, don't we ;)).

He is, however, not 150-155 lbs. About a month ago he looked like a reasonably in shape Cat 3. Bigger legs, but not any more defined and certainly not leaner in the upper body.

Wow - a lot of avatar chatter over the past 10 pages!

Lance isn't chubby, his jersey's just too small.
The avatar commentary, I dunno 'bout that. I don't pay 'em much mind.

Look on the bright side. This an opportunity to sell new types of products, products that are much needed by the typical Shack fan. I can see Radio Shack moo moos, endorsed by Armstrong himself. Bontrager clydesdale wheels, not only endorsed but personally ridden in races by Armstrong. Extra large, cupcake flavored Clif bars. The possiblities are endless.

Yes, that is the point. The spineless mods claim someone said the other one was racist so they took it down. (I am not convinced an actual complaint existed other than in their own view.) They should quit while they were ahead. I haven't even started photoshopping my own images yet. It gets worse.

If an actual complaint existed, they shoulda told 'em to eff off.

I certainly wouldn't complain to a mod about anything, but your avatar was rather lame for a cycling web site. For a political site, fine, but hey, this is CYCLINGnews.

To each his own though. I have an avatar of a moose, so it's not like I need to be giving people advice on avatars anyway.

The previous one existed for months.

I had no idea who your previous avatar represented. I suggest you watch the first ten minutes of Saving Private Ryan, or any film about the Holocaust, and see if you really want the world to associate you with the man responsible for the deaths. How many people here do you think had relatives killed or wounded in WWII. And why on Earth should people at a cycling forum be exposed to a constant reminder? I can't believe I'm adding someone to my ignore list for an avatar, but it's a huge distraction from the positive interaction I come here for. I hope you get the attention you obviously crave. Have a nice life.

The previous one existed for months. Not to mention its rather arbitrary enforcement.

Discuss via PM if you wish, after 700+ posts, and none outside of the Obama thread are very noteworthy or controversial (other than being funny), I am about to get banned by these clowns.

Dude, you're unhinged. Avatar of Hitler? Get some perspective. Good grief.
Obama as the joker? Ok, whatever floats your boat. But Hitler? It's a CYCLING forum. Get a grip and let's stick to cycling discussions. Keep your political views in the political forum.

The Obama avatar was just stupid. The Hitler image is flat-out offensive. It's made even more offensive because you chose it specifically to agitate and offend and get a rise out of people.

Oh yeah, and I'm telling you this out here, right in the open, to your face. No IM, no moderator.

Feel free to tell me to eff off yourself.

So with Lance racing MSR this weekend, does that mean that you guys in the States get to see the race live? If so, you are lucky, we don't get anything. Hey you can think what you like about him, but at least he gets you live coverage of the Classics. Best to watch it without the commentary.

He has been doing upper body weight training. His arms are huge for a cyclist. I think that is pretty clear evidence that he is not serious about racing anymore.

Lance fat watch: https://www.2oceansvibe.com/2010/03/15/the-lance-armstrong-argus-cycle-tour-video/

Check the parts of the video where he finishes. Look at that gut!! Looks like Alberto's got inside his head and Lance has been comfort eating.

Jesus, that photo that Pub put up of him sitting with Impey was not a one off freak, he is huge! I mean, I keep going back to Jan comparisions, was Der Kaiser every that big? LeMond even? I know they both blew up in the off-season, but it is March now, hardly January training camp

Judging by those photos Lance won't even start the Tour this year. I mean he's HUGE, and losing that weight is not possible while maintaining quality training program for the Tour.

I kinda wonder what Radioshack might think, I mean they pretty much pumped all that money in to that team only because of Lance.

What's that black strap around his left (our right) bicep? To keep his jersey from riding up his arm and showing what's underneath? :p

Anyway, as BroDeal said, his arms are huge. No way can he lose that muscle bulk in this short time without losing leg strength either. Ergo, he's screwed.

To be honest I’m not sure what happened.

I suspect he’s got himself into a pickle. All that trash talk of beating Contador and the lies that Alberto supposedly told I think he thought that Contador would crumble. But instead Alberto just laughed it off and I think this has really done Lance’s head in. Its obvious between the TDU and now he’s stacked on the weight. The heavy racing program is indicative of a guy he can’t motive himself to train anymore.

One part of me thou thinks that he talked up beating Contador and being competitive to keep his price tag high and now that’s paid off he’s being taking it easy. Again I state he won’t finish MSR in this condition.

Tommy D is going to give this man a run for his money!

Might be in honor of the 4 or 5 people killed by the runaway bakkie (I hope I spelled that correctly) a week or so ago.

Ah, yes, you're probably right, in which case I apologise for the flippant remark.

I did a "cycling" search on my directv guide and Versus' next race is Criterium International. I couldn't find any reference to Milan San Remo. Maybe too soon to get coverage?
